A little problem in checkin. Booked at hotels.com however they had the confirmation from expedia.com. This created a problem during checkin for our very valuable auditor guest. How this happened, I am not aware. We are least concerned from where the hotel gets the booking.
It does not have a lift from ground floor. You have to climb to 1st floor where lobby is located and lift was available from this floor. Also I had booked a room for 3 person and got a room for 2 person with a roll away bed. Else every thing was fine.
I call them at 5 PM and asked that I will check-in 6am morning and check-out at 10pm evening at that time they said yes its fine, after that I book hotel and they wasn't allowed me to check-in at 6am
It was good time for us to stay in this hotel, however there were some miscommunication happened between Hotels.com & Hotel because I got booked room with Complimentary Breakfast from Hotels.com but Hotel did not allowed me to take Complimentary breakfast & they have charged me for the same. It should not be happened. I think all traveler should have confirmed each & everything before they arrive in the hotel.
PRIMARILY AS THIS HOTEL CATERS FOR BUSINESS TRAVELLER, ROOMS ARE COMPACT BUT VERY COMFORTABLE. ROOMS ARE VERY CLEAN WITH THE ATTACHED BATHROOM ON PAR WITH THE WESTERN HOTELS. GOOD QUALITY ROOM SERVICES / BREAKFAST IS LAVISH WITH MULTI CHOICES AND INDIVIDUAL ORDERS FOR CEREALS, OMLETTES CATERED FOR. STAFF ARE WILLING AND SUPPORTIVE. LOCATION IS ALSO GOOD AND IN A SECURE PLACE. WE STAYED 5 NIGHTS AND HAD A COMFORTABLE STAY. HAVING STAYED IN COUNTLESS HOTELS IN INDIA THIS WAS THE BEST HOTEL FOR THE MODERATE TARIFF
When i arrived, they could not find my reservation. After calling call-center of Hotel.com i got the room, It took 45 mins but both Hotels staff and Hotels.com were supportive. Hotel is new and in excellent condition. The breakfast has very limited options..(enough options for a human being but less when compared to other hotels with similar rating). I would request them to serve breakfast on the advertised time (7 AM), Wen i was there, it was not ready till 7:40. please improve that because people have to leave for their meetiing or other plans.. (or simply advertise 7:30)

Comfort Inn Suba
As could be seen I have rated the hotel very highly. It is centrally situated, comfortable, friendly, good service etc. The only problem we had faced was 'overbooking'. On arrival to the hotel, we were told that we had no booking. It was worrying. After realizing their fault, the management was very helpful in finding alternate accomodation. We were accomodated in an inferior hotel for first three nights. Apart from this inconvenience the overall experience was pleasent. I would definitely go there again. I would have expected a small consideration for the inconvenience caused but had to do with comforting friendly words from the management.
My rating 4 instead of 5 reflects the inconvenience.
