Overview
The Statesman Hotel is located at Curtin, the geographical centre of Canberra. It is a short 5 minute drive from Woden Town Centre, just 12 minutes from the City Centre and a 7 minute drive to the National Capital Private Hospital.


We offer a variety of different accommodation types which will suit the needs of business or leisure travel. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service providing guests with a home away from home atmosphere. We have a large bar and bistro area for guests to relax and wind down after a busy day in Canberra, we also offer function spaces to be hired out with catering capability.


All rooms are complete with bathrooms, spa rooms are also available, we offer a few apartment style rooms with kitchen facilities. Standard rooms come with tea and coffee making facilities. Our rooms are serviced daily by our friendly house maid team.


We offer a courtesy bus free of charge to guests taking guest to the Woden area, the bus leaves from reception Mon-Fri from 8am-9am.

Getting There
Travel South along Northbourne Ave - the main street in Canberra. You will travel past Parliament House and then take the 3rd exit ramp on the left marked Curtin / Hughes. At the top of the ramp (traffic lights) turn right and travel over the overpass. You will come to Theodore Street and Curtin Shops. We are located at the rear of the Curtin Shopping Centre.
