Overview
Ocean Breeze is a set of ground floor and first floor apartments. The complex is set in spacious tropical grounds with a private swimming pool and BBQ facilities for your enjoyment.
They are fully furnished, clean and tidy although some are older style decore.
Our superior apartments however, have been recently completely refreshed with new bathrooms, new bedding and new flatscreen TVs and DVDs. Each unit is self-contained and only a short stroll from the fabulous Queens Beach. Nearby is the foreshore parklands with children's playground, beach stinger net (summer months), tennis courts, bowling greens and golf course.
The Queens Beach Hotel is only a short walk from your apartment where they provide breakfast, lunch and dinner together with entertainment and all usual hotel facilities.
There are restaurants, a hotel, cafe, takeaways. The renowned and historic Queens Beach Summer Garden Cinema is also only a short walk away.
The apartments face toward the beach and enjoy the refreshing cool breezes off the Coral Sea.
The apartments are clean and spacious however the Standard apartments are older style decore and the Superior apartments have been fully refreshed recently including new bedding, decore and equipment, including new flat screen TVS and DVDs.
They are priced accordingly to provide 2 levels of budget accommodation for people wanting to stay for extended periods in Bowen for pleasure, work and contract assignments.
We want anybody booking the Standard apartment accommodation to know that it is clean and liveable, but it is older style decore accommodation and is priced accordingly.
We are currently in the process of refurnishing and updating the apartments progressively and each apartment has varying stages of upgraded furnishings, equipment and fit out. We will always provide the highest standard available at the time, subject to availability.
SUPERIOR APARTMENTS: 3 1/2 Star Standard:
We have completed the refurbishment of 6 apartments so far. They have been completely repainted, newly tiled or carpeted floors, new lights, brand new bathrooms and new flat screen TVs and DVDs. These apartments are now available and we are awaiting the arrival of further new furnishings. Please see Superior - photos.
STANDARD APARTMENTS: 3 Star Standard:
We are working to continually raise the standard of the remaining apartments. They are clean and spacious, fully self contained, well located and well priced and improving by the day.

Many corporates and contractors stay with us on a regular basis and are happy with the standards as they are in conjunction with the price.
SMALL APARTMENTS: 3 Star Standard:
These are 2 bedroom also however the living room is smaller than the other apartments. These apartments are not air-conditioned.

Getting There
Ocean Breeze Units are located in Marshall Street Queens Beach, Bowen. If driving from the north you take the first exit into Bowen and as you enter Bowen take the first exit left to Queens Beach along Mount Nutt Road. When you hit the roundabout turn left into Marshall Street and the Units are on the left hand side.
Driving from the south, follow the signs to the Beach Resorts and then to Queens Beach. Marshall Street is second left off the main roundabout at Queens Beach.
By air, you fly to the Whitsunday Coast Airport, just south of Proserpine and take a taxi, airport transfer, or bus to Bowen which is about one hour's drive north of the Airport. We are able to arrange transfers if you require them. You are able to hire cars to be at the airport by prior arrangement. Alternatively Bowen has inexpensive car hire by the day if required.
NOTE: The reception for this property is at Beachside Holiday Units, 38 Horseshoe Bay Road, Bowen. As you enter Bowen from either direction follow the signs to the Beach Resorts and Horseshoe Bay. You will drive along Horseshoe Bay road and stop at the Beachside Holiday Units which are on the beachfront on the left, to collect your Keys and be directed to the property.
You can come from the Whitsunday Coast Airport by taxi, airport transfer or bus which will bring you to the town centre.
Parking Info
There is off-street parking available in front of the units. There is also onsite parking and some under cover parking subject to the apartment and availability. There is room for boats, trucks and work trailers as required.
