Isis Motel is situated on the southern approaches of Scone in the Upper Hunter Valley, on the right side of New England Highway, 300 metres away from the Sign "Scone - Horse Capital" from Sydney direction. It is a popular and convenient stopover to break up your trip between Sydney and Brisbane while you can still enjoy Barrington Tops, Burning Mountain National Park, wineries and many other local attractions.

Guests often comment that the motel is the quietest in Scone as it sits far back from the highway, with the railway line located even further back. Motel features 19 ground floor units with a mixture of 3 and 3? Star rated rooms of Standard Queen, Budget Queen, Twin and Family rooms. Our rooms are equipped with split system air conditioning, wall mounted flat screen TV with Austar, bar fridge, quality beds with electric blankets, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities.

Breakfast (Both Continental & cooked) and dinner available to guests room. Chargeback can be arranged.

The Motel also offers a salt water swimming pool, a BBQ and a guest laundry (fees apply for laundry) for the convenience of our guests. It is only a short stroll to Scone main streets with shops and all amenities.

Isis Motel is an ideal stopover for exploring Barrington Tops National Park, Burning Mountain, as well as lots of well established horse studs in the area.

As new owners of the motel, we are endeavour to do our best to offer our guests competitive rates with outstanding value. In May 2011 we completed a refurbishment of 8 bathrooms and we further completed another 9 bathrooms by end of June 2011. Our rooms are clean, Non-smoking, quiet, comfortable yet affordable. The Motel is only 2 minutes driving to the local Council and Chamber of Commerce; Scone Hospital and medical centre; Scone Train Station as well as Woolworth, Coles, RSL Club, Golf course and all the amenities in Scone. Bowling Club is only few minutes walking distance.

Scone Visitor Information Centre, Scone airport (museum) and Scone Racing course, Equine Research Centre, TAFE college is also just few minutes away. Muswellbrook is only about 23kms south of the motel; Newcastle is 150km; Tamworth is about 140km north of the motel.
