The property was very nice and extremely clean.

This is a great place to stay to get away from it all! Close enough to Hilo to get back into the all of you want. We also wound up driving north around the island to the west side a bit more than towards Hilo. Just sitting on the porch and looking out at the sky & ocean was so peaceful. Wish we had better weather. Got 1.5 sunrises and one night starry sky out of 7 nights but, that was only the fault of Mother Nature. Still so peaceful in the rain. The cottage itself is fine for two people, tho I can’t imagine a third person being comfortable. The only thing I did not know about before booking from reading reviews, was that the ginger cottage was right next to the main house. Not sharing a wall, but a car port. They have tried to do a good job separating it and noise was only an issue a few times, we did not even bring it up since it was my fault for possibly not asking that question before booking. As I saw nothing about it being so close to the main house in reviews. And many other places we looked at it was a very obvious. The pineapple cottage is a bit more on its own. I would probably book that one next time. Great hosts! Thank you again.

This lodging worked perfectly for my husband and I and our 21 year old son. The pull-out sofa is extremely comfortable. The kitchen was very well appointed with plenty of spices and starter sets of coffee and treats. The pool is lovely and refreshing and has three levels. The views of the cruise ships sailing into the port of Hilo each day was enjoyable. And Honoli’i beach is just a short walk up the street. The lodging provides guests with beach chairs, beach umbrella and kid boogie boards which is a very nice touch. There is also a booklet with suggested restaurants and sightseeing options throughout the areas of the island which was very helpful. We took the suggestions for Pineapple’s, Kenichi’s, and the Hilo Burger Bar and were glad we did. The hosts were very nice and helpful. We had a lovely time being their guests.

Absolutely incredible location. Beautiful waterfall, very private and quiet. Staff was friendly, breakfast was delicious. Very unique and beautiful place.

This property totally delivered on Everything. The view is spectacular. The house is perfectly clean and modern. The bedrooms are all ensuites. The kitchen offers up all kinds of choices for drinks and meals. Every detail was so well thought out, the host thought of everything. He even went above and beyond when we left something behind. Thank you Randall we cant wait to come back!. Cheers!
