It lies 800 kilometres to the northwest of Port Moresby, the capital city of Papua New Guinea.

The close-by localities of Boang and Woitape are worth your time. They're located 35 kilometres north and 40 kilometres southeast away, respectively. Get in a car and see what's happening!
