WOW! 12 of the world’s best hotel pools

There’s nothing better than an amazing pool. Well, unless it’s 12 amazing pools, all collected in one blog post. So that’s what I’ve gone and done.

Whether you’re all about doing laps, playing cannonball, or just sipping cocktails and admiring the view, these hotel swimming spots are guaranteed to inspire your next poolside getaway. Just remember to come home… eventually 😉

1. Palazzo Versace, Gold Coast

The Palazzo Versace proves you don’t have to go far for an amazing pool (or some Vegas-style extravagance).

2. The Sanchaya, Indonesia

The Sanchaya is a stunning luxury resort with its own private beach. But if that isn’t enough, it also has a pool that looks like this. Because holiday-life is hard.

3. Hacienda Uayamon, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Mexico

Yes, I promise this isn’t a dream. Hacienda Uayamon is a real resort and you really can swim in that pool. Last one in is a rotten egg 😉

4. The Library, Koh Samui

Blue water – pfft! The Library breaks all the rules with this striking red pool. But don’t let it freak you out. The colour comes from its tiles, so you won’t be doing your Carrie impression any time soon…

5. Blanket Bay, Queenstown

Sometimes it’s all about simplicity. With its perfectly framed views of Lake Wakatipu and the NZ Alps, Blanket Bay’s pool is a stunner.

6. Quay West Suites, Sydney

Between you and me, this little Sydney secret might be my personal fave. It’s like someone flooded an art-deco penthouse and made it even more awesome. The view’s not too bad, either.

7. Canaves Oia Suites, Santorini

With its striking all-white design, incredible views, and jaw-dropping pools (yes, PLURAL), Canaves Oia is just straight-up otherworldly. One pic doesn’t do it justice – you’ve gotta click through and check out the rest.

8. Le Bristol, Paris

Like swimming on a boat, but without the risk of falling overboard and getting harassed by stupid fish (my worst nightmare). Every inch of Le Bristol is gorgeous and oh-so-French. I know where I’m staying next time I’m in Paris 😉

9. The Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa, Fiji

If you love the sea but hate the sand, the Westin Denarau has got you covered. Splash around in your perfect, sand-free pool while admiring postcard views of the Pacific Ocean.

10. Aleenta Resort and Spa, Phuket

There’s only one thing better than a gorgeous resort pool, and that’s a gorgeous resort pool you don’t have to share. Check out Aleenta’s pool suites and villas for your own private splash time. Or you could make do with the sparkly shared pool pictured above… you poor thing.

11. Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, Edinburgh

Edinburgh probably isn’t your go-to when you’re dreaming of escaping to some place with an amazing pool. But the Sheraton Grand’s bubbling rooftop Hydropool will change your mind.

12. Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa, Jammu and Kashmir

Aaaand I’m dead. Khyber Himalayan Resort and Spa, the insane beauty of your pool has killed me. Otherwise, it’d be going straight to the top of my bucket list.
