Hi , We wont fly Business class with Maylasian Airlines after our last experience. We flew from
New Zealand to Rome and London to New Zealand. We checked in early traveling together, requestered to sit together, I was put into Row 3a and my companion was place back by the Kitchern , 7 b once on the plane we asked if we could move and was abruptly told NO as the Bussines class was full. AS soon as we landed we approached the ground staff to fix this problem For our return trip, sadly again we seperated again. We had saved for a very long time for our trip and our busisness class tickets. My Husband and I had previously flown with you and enjoyed the experence. But after the last trip its no fun being onyour own . Regards May Wallace

Thanks for the response May. Being separated from a loved one on a long-haul flight is far from ideal. And you had to do this twice – what a shame! During peak travel periods aircrafts get booked up quickly so at lastminute HQ we always recommend reserving travel companion seats together in advance. Hope this helps for any future travel plans you have. If there’s anything else we can help you with please drop us a line at lovelies@lastminute.com.au

I used to fly Malaysia Airline but now I don’t think I will fly with them. They have rob us of our frequently points. After many email to and back from them and time they told me that it was expired… Not happy with them as I now fly with other airline.

I always reserve my seat, this is complimentary when flying business on Malaysia. It also pays to double-check your BP before leaving the counter, just in case you’ve been reseated. Finally, i’ve moved seats for a family on A full flight from KUL to MEL before now…the FAs were very polite in asking this at the time.

And a spot of advice for anyone flying the Malaysia A380 in Business Class: try and get a seat in the forward mini-cabin on the upper deck. Just like the UD economy cabin, it’s a bit more intimate.

    Hi! 🙂

I’m also a huge fan of Malaysia Airlines – from it’s customer service and Enrich frequent flyer program, to it’s Golden Lounges, modern fleet and onboard product! I still have very fond memories of flying the airline when I was a small child back in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. Of course, the onboard product is still the same as it was back then – the service could almost be described as impeccable, even! The kebaya (and suit)-dressed cabin crew have always been and still are representative of famous Asian hospitality and grace.

Also, thank you for this fantastic review! It is well-written and very descriptive at times. 😉 I have linked your review onto two Facebook ‘like’ pages that I run (they are, of course, unofficial): https://www.facebook.com/pages/Malaysia-Airlines-Melbourne/249603721837439 and https://www.facebook.com/MalaysiaAirlinesGoldenLounge. So if you could somehow promote these two ‘like’ pages, that would be fantastic! 🙂

    Greetings from Melbourne, Australia! 🙂
