12 signs you need another holiday
Yep, another one! If you’ve just come back from a holiday or haven’t been on one in a year or three and you’re showing these signs…you better start packing!
Holidays bring us loads of happiness and they’re good for our health (read this for evidence). Why store up all your annual leave when you can use it and make amazing memories and experience things you wouldn’t get in an office environment AND make you a happier, healthier person.
Here are the 12 telltale signs you not only want but NEED a holiday, stat.
1. You have to set multiple alarms just to get out of bed in the morning. Every single morning.
2. You haven’t bothered with a fake tan or pedicure in months because what’s the point under boots and winter layers.
3. Your colleagues find you sitting at your desk staring aimlessly at nothing, dreaming of far-away places at least five times a day.
4. You find yourself frequently sharing Facebook ‘On This Day’ memories. We get it, you *really* wish you were back on that beach in Bali.
5. You check your annual leave balance daily.
6. You’re inbox is full of newsletters with amazing flight deals.
7. You subconsciously pack the Piña colada pre-mix in your lunch instead of your pineapple juice.
8. You accidentally put your bikini on under your work clothes – oops!
9. You’re really bitter about other people going on holidays and beg them to let you come. And defriend them on Facebook when they don’t.
