The room was affordable and decent.
Pros:
- Comfortable bed and pillows, soft sheets
- Clean room
- Good location, close to restaurants and Walmart
- Staff was kind
- Our queen studio room had a lot of counter space. The extra sink was convenient, and the little couch was nice for nursing my baby at night.
- Breakfast was decent. I really liked the waffle station.
Cons:
- The hotel is a bit worn down and unmaintained. There are stains on the carpet and couch and mineral buildup in the bathtub. There are still signs at the front desk about social distancing (it’s now 2025) and a poster in the elevator about Wyndham rewards looks like it’s been ripped down and taped back up.
- The crib, a pack and play, was kind of gross. It had not been cleaned. I had to wipe down the edges. Thankfully I had brought a crib sheet. Otherwise I wouldn’t have let my baby sleep in it.
- There was a rumbling noise coming from the room below us. It sounded like an industrial washing machine, perhaps. It made the room vibrate. Thankfully we brought white noise for sleep. Otherwise that would have been very annoying.
- The egg bites for breakfast were strange tasting. A weird texture and kind of sweet.
- There was a fight in the hallway outside our room one evening. My husband was inside our room and is still shaken up about it days later. My son and I were out with my family. When we got back to the hotel, there were cops and a fire truck outside. We had to wait to get back in.
