Split over two floors the accommodation offers a great sense of space with open-plan living, vast vaulted ceilings and french doors opening out into the extensive garden. Featuring french doors that flood the room with light, enter into the barn and be greeted by the spacious kitchen with high quality appliances, granite worktops, limestone flooring plus not to mention the kitchen island with sit up bar area, perfect whilst cooking up a storm for family or friends to enjoy. Further more step up into the impressive open-plan sitting and dining area where nights can be enjoyed playing a board game or two before retiring upstairs to one of the two delightful bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a rather expansive window framing the countryside that surrounds the barn as your view from the comfortable king-size bed. Whilst the second bedroom can be made up on request as either a king-size bed or twin single beds, perfect for younger guests or friends joining you in your hideaway. Both rooms are complimented by a luxury family bathroom featuring a freestanding bath and large walk-in shower.

Returning to the ground floor, the French doors lead out to the huge garden mainly laid to lawn with a patio area offering the perfect opportunity for a summer barbecue. During your stay feeding the chickens is a must, however don't forget to say 'hi' to the friendly sheep that surround the garden. Tockwith Lodge Barn will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed after spending a short break or week in the Yorkshire countryside.

The village is just a short 12 mile drive from MacArther Glen designer shopping outlet if you fancy a spot of retail therapy or a little further afield and Newby Hall and Gardens is a perfect day out for all ages, they even have a miniature ride on train, but don't forget a picnic!
