On arrival, we were told the car park was full, The nearest car park was over half a mile away and cost £25 overnight. not impressed by that, the wife was struggling with her asthma. The place itself was very nice, clean and the room was great. The bed was very comfortable although very high. The staff were friendly

Lovely staff who were very helpful. There was a free coffee machine for use by reception which was a nice touch. The room was clean and spacious, however I wasnt keen on the location - we had a ground floor room that had large patio style windows which was right by the back entrance. I felt very self concious about the steady stream of people walking by and felt I had to keep the curtains closed. The fire alarm also randomly went off one morning. Lastly, the TV had the screen saver image burned into the screen, which could be seen while watching other channels, not a huge problem but irritating once you notice it. I will re state though that the staff couldnt have been more helpful.

The staff were excellent on check in, the room could have done with a small table rather than the large poofy. We had problems with the heating during our stay. On arrival we were told that due to the river flooding we could not park at the hotel I believe this should have been passed on prior to our arrival instead of on arrival.

Nice room, loved the heated floor in the bathroom. Shower starting to develop mould on the tiling grout. Coffee bar in reception out of order and cold croissants not very appetising.
