The hotel itself is fine. Quiet location. If you do not have a vehicle this is not a good choice. There is nothing within walking distance and no sidewalks. We had considerable difficulty gettting a taxi or an Uber from the nearest shopping centre back to the hotel. It took an hour to secure a ride. Although we had pre-booked a taxi on the day of our departure, we had to call more than once to get that ride. A taxi driver told us that the drivers don't like going to the hotel even though it's less than 15 minutes from downtown York.

Great find of a hotel as didnt want to stay in centre .Friendly staff. Quick check in Short drive to shopp outlet and quick uber into centre. Hotel was really clean . Comfy beds. No complaints from us ....we will be back

Check in was super quick. The room was set up for us as a family. Bathroom was spotless and spacious. We only stayed for 1 night but could easily stay longer as it's such a good hotel. Room and communal areas are clean and well maintained. Breakfast has good choices. Good coffee machine with various options. Non dairy milk also available. Would definitely stay again.

All of the staff were wonderful. My father has some mobility issues and the receptionist noticed this and switched our room for one on the ground floor, all before I could ask. The room was spotless and quiet, couldn't ask for more.
