Hotel is ok for the level of cost. Breakfast is average (sausages not up to much). Rooms are pleasant with good amenities however the beds are a little hard for me. Hotel had a power cut so offered another room for the night so no issues there.

I stayed with my wife and our three year old daughter. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean room with a kettle, tea and coffee. The hotel is brilliantly situated for exploring York and is very near the railway station. The breakfast was very average. The cooked side was buffet style, the pastries weren’t great and the apple juice tasted very little like apple whilst the orange juice was quite watery but for the price, I didn’t expect brilliance. Staff were helpful and polite but not always particularly warm or friendly.

Nice place! Nice clean room. Breakfast was amazing!! Parking will run you about £18 a night as there is no lot on the property and they use a third party but they will comp your ticket. Nice staff. Breakfast was the best part 10/10

Sad that there is no parking of their own but a discount given for the NCP carpark at the end of the road (it's a little scary trying to drive up and down the floors as the sloaps are so tight & steep)

Sunday theatre night stay

Our check in was quick and room ready 1 hour earlier the official time which was good. The hotel is in an ideal location near the train station and city centre. The room was modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety. I thought the price was very good. Couldn't fault anything.
