Great little hotel. Seems to be recently renovated. Rooms are spaceous for this type of hotel. Very clean, friendly staff. Yakima is not too big so even if the hotel is on the outer rim of the city, you are close to everything.

Overall Stays Summary
For the comfort and value, just a place to sleep and shower it works great. We didn’t have time to use the outdoor heated pool. It is kinda windy and a little cold that weekend. The room cleanliness could be a little better. We saw spiders and cobweb along the window. Other than that it works fine for us as we had basketball tournament for the boys around that venues. The front people were nice and polite at check-in and check out.
Updated color scheme and furniture. Excellent breakfast with a wide range of choices including egg sandwiches, waffles, yogurt, cereal, juices, and fruit. Very easy to find and close to 82/12 junction.
The area has many homeless around wandering the streets in the neighborhood. The hotel Y was clean and well maintained and we had no issues with the people or with our vehicle
Great. Clean. Nice property lots of open parking (pulling a Uhaul trailer). Will do a review after breakfast.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
We like it there’s a lot less expensive than other places that we like and they serve breakfast in the morning a little bit noisy with sports teams, but very clean

The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. The breakfast options included a variety with breakfast burritos or sandwiches you can grab and go. There was an ant problem in the room, which was a bummer.
Quick and easy access from the highway. Smooth check-in by helpful staff member. Comfortable beds with fresh linens. We were able to control the room temperature. Close to eating establishments for lunch.
This is the third time we've stayed there. It's convenient, right off the interstate with a coffee shack out front with friendly staff; and other dining options nearby. The Waffles Cafe just down the street has great breakfast and lunches. Attentive waitstaff and a greeter with hugs for all the locals, which attest to the quality of the establishment.
Unfortunately the area around this hotel is not very nice. We did not feel comfortable walking in the area due to so many street people. I had someone ask for food from across the parking lot while putting things in our car. It’s sad because the staff and hotel are great. But because we like to walk wherever we stay we would not stay again. I didn’t see any comments in regards to the area on reviews so until we asked if it was safe to walk at dusk we were unaware of the homeless camp just a couple blocks away. The staff and hotel were great otherwise very friendly.
We enjoyed a Mexican restaurant down a few exits and Jeans cottage inn down in Union gap was great too!
Fruit city is a friendly fruit stand that’s been around since 1966.
Good hiking trails and a 10 mile trail (arboretum is a good place to walk)
