Small room but ok for our short stay. Breakfast on the 1st day was missing a couple of ingredients smoked salmon and avocado but other breakfast meals made up for the missing options. Staff in hotel and restaurant very good.

Warm, friendly & efficient welcome. Nice lounge area for guests. The bedroom was a little dated but the size was ok & the bed was comfy. Bathroom was old, very small & smelt fusty, it might have been the drains, you could smell it in the bedroom a bit when you walked in. Understand that you can have thses issues with older hotels & it didn't spoil our stay. Breakfast at the pub across the road was good.

The provision of a coffee machine/ drinks being available on the hotel side at the seating area or maybe a way of ordering drinks to be served as we didn’t want to keep crossing the main road to bring drinks back.
