A really great hotel with a sincerely welcoming staff. Off season is great! Less crowds, just as many restaurants and such. We loved this hotel. Bed comfortable, linens lovely. Bathroom upgraded and adequate closet. Nice extras, great staff. It is conveniently located to walk the historic district, little Venice and fishmonger’s lane, etc. breakfast was a special treat and worth the extra charge. The room was warm but could be modulated by opening the window on what was a very quiet street .

Great stay

Fantastic stay. Clean hotel, friendly staff and right on the canal. Great location. Easy walk from the train station and right in the outskirts of the historical center of town. So convenient!

This property is the epitome of a European fairy tale. The staff was wonderful and friendly. I was worried about the fact that I have almost no French language ability, but the staff put me at ease immediately. They made sure we understood everything we needed to know and gave us great tips for visiting the Christmas markets.

Perfect Stay

This hotel was so quaint and comfortable. It’s small without being cramped. I LOVED how well appointed the room and bathroom was. The views were spectacular! The staff so helpful and friendly too.

The bath tub shower combo was a little bit too difficult for me to use safely - grab bars would have been nice. Everything else was spectacular - especially the restaurant.

Right in the heart of the city and everything was within walking distance. The room though was way too small and even opening our case was a struggle. I’d advise anyone wishing to stay in the property to upgrade.

We were expecting more from our stay here. It is very centrally located … so ideal for a short stay - however that is if you don’t need hot water or reliable WiFi. They pride themselves on being a 4 star hotel but I felt that housekeeping was average from no new clean towels to the carpet being very very dirty. The chairs were also very stained and dingy looking. We didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot in the room. The room itself was kind of sad and very void of natural light. However, its saving grace was the restaurant and wine pairing we did the first night. The food was excellent and I would recommend perhaps just booking dinner for that and staying elsewhere.

Very nice hotel to stay close to train station & La Petit Venise. Staff was courteous. Would recommend. PS I’d recommend hotel add 2 more pillows to bed. Pillows were a little too flat for our preference.
