The renovations are visually appealing but many features are not practical. The bathroom barn door doesn't lock nor does it provide any real privacy. There is NO door on the shower so the experience is cold and makes the floor very wet and slick. The walls are very thin so you will hear everything your neighbors say or do. We were kept up much of the night with the sounds of partying and vomiting. The balcony was locked for the season and that notification was not listed on expedia and the area is so cold dark and sketchy that, if you need to go outside for anything, you take a big risk. But ya, pretty place I guess.

I'm honestly really surprised but this hotel! Was a bit worried about being on downtown but I really enjoyed our stay! The parking was right behind the hotel so that was perfect (had to pay $22 for parking tho) the area was pretty quite. The rooms were super clean and beds were comfy!

Nice and newly renovated hotel! Very clean, room did have a bit of an artificial smell to it. Stayed for 2 nights, in walking distance to Canada Life Centre and near by restaurants. Would stay again for convenience if attending a game or event downtown!
