Incredible staff, great stay!

Nothing wrong with this hotel at all! The staff was incredibly friendly! The lady doing breakfast was absolutely wonderful! The hotel was clean, had a great breakfast and was located conveniently right across from the Detroit-Windsor tunnel. Checked us in at 2:00am without any problems. We’d definitely stay here again!

The staff at this property were absolutely amazing? The staff that checked us in were super friendly and offered great restaurant and attractions recommendations close by. There was a full breakfast with something for everyone. The staff member working the breakfast area was keeping everything topped up and even clearing plates from the tables as people finished. The hotel is very clean and well maintained on the inside. Unfortunately, the neighborhood wasn’t the greatest location. Lots of drug use happening right outside the doors.

I think that the property needs to be updated. Unfortunately the area around the hotel is rubbed down due to homeless people. I didn’t feel safe to go out for a walk at night.

The pictures in online show a much Grander looking hotel. It is situated in a not so safe looking area.

When we arrived at the hotel there was a lot of drilling and construction in the hotel. The hotel had a sign at the front desk stating that the drilling would be done from 8am-4pm daily. This was not stated on the hotel website, or on Expedia. I advised the hotel staff that it should have been noted on the website. It was horrible. We spent 2 nights. The staff was professional and courteous. The area that the hotel was located had a lot of homeless people walking around and sleeping near the hotel. The McDonalds next to the hotel was filled with homeless people, and they even had a security officer at the entrance.

The property is old, rooms are dated specially the bathrooms. Hotel is clean, the staff is great. Hotel is walking distance to the casino, 10 minute. Great price for the room too. We were there to sleep and shower, that’s it.

Good location for access to Casino

Check in was great. The Hotel manager was a woman whom I didn’t get her name but she was the best she offered info on restaurants directions pleasant efficient so friendly during breakfast visited with guests and helped out with replenishing coffee Bathroom very old needs renovating bath tub didn’t drain toilet very low hardly flushed
