This is purportedly the most popular park in the Kimberley region, arguably one of Australia's most iconic outback locations.
Along the Gibb River Road, make sure to stop and at least spend one evening at Windjana Gorge. At dusk, tens of thousands of bats fly out of the gorge and you can occasionally hear small freshwater crocodiles jumping out of the water trying to catch one for dinner. It's a surreal experience in The Australian Outback! #SMDdoesOZ #TheOutback #Australia
I loved the natural contrast of Windjana.  Odd vegetation, ancient rock formations and exotic wildlife.
There's lots of crocs there but they're only Johnsons River crocs and, if you leave them alone you can go swimming (as I did) in the water, not something you can do with other varieties.

Naming of location was misleadng. (Bell Gorge is nowhere near property which is located in a unattractive area). Staff were a bit over the season and not as willing to help as other Kimberley places we visited. Maybe could benefit from extra training or maybe difficult to attract good staff to a ...
