This 3 bed/1 bath cottage is super cozy! Newly refurbished, this spacious 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom residence features a charming front porch and sunroom that looks out at a serene garden.
Spots Nearby: 
* 1 mile from the brand new Twins Creek Marina and Dry Creek Beach 
* 1 mile from the Bass Club which has docks great for fishing
* 1 mile from Winchester City Park which has tennis, frisbee golf, basketball, tennis, a huge playground overlooking the lake

We live about an hour away, checking in will be done via a code. We always strive to be available for messages/calls when our guests need us. We also have someone on-staff monitoring messages throughout normal business hours.

The property is on a convenient and visible road. 

The property is located very close (approximately 1 mile) to the Winchester square where restaurants and shops are located. 

The closest grocery store is Walmart which is about a 10 minute drive.

Short stay

Overall impression is the rental is way overpriced. There was no window covering in the living room, the HVAC vent in the living room was not secure, towels were old & stained, my spouse had to fix a leak with the kitchen faucet because it was spraying everywhere, shower could use a good cleaning. There was road noise all night.

Loved our stay

This house was so close to downtown Winchester, the AFB, and Tims Fields State park. We stayed with 3 dogs and 3 adults. It was large and accommodating for us. Neighbors were friendly as well. Great property!

Location

We loved the location to Tim's Ford Lake. It was a perfect pet friendly home. If you don't have pets it may not be the place for you....walking in the door you can smell pets have stayed here but for us it worked and we plan to stay at this location (if available) on our next trip to the lake.

The outside was unkept. The inside had not been professional cleaned in a while. It was not nasty but also not as clean as should have been. When you enter the house your hit with a strong cat pee oder and mildew smell. The capret was stained with what looked like pet stains and rugs where put down to cover some of them up. The living room rug had stain spots on it. We did NOT stay the night there. The host was nice when I called and made the final payment in the day of check in when i thought i had set my card to automatic pay. We would have stayed if it was clean on the inside and no smells snd stains. I would have given 5 stars review.

The location of this house was great and within walking distance of the square. We loved the sun room and enjoyed afternoons reading out there. The large tv was great and the internet worked just fine with no issues. The bathroom was large and had a nice walk in shower. The kitchen was adequate but poorly equipped with utensils if you planned to do major cooking. All the appliances worked fine and so did the washer and dryer. However, there were some electrical outlets that weren’t working and there was an unpleasant odor in the hallway/kitchen area. We were also concerned with security because the entrance was an only a glass door with no deadbolt that could be locked from the outside. Also, the outside light to the entrance door didn’t work. This didn’t affect our stay but the grounds were in very bad condition. We love Winchester and with some attention to these issues, this little house could be something special. We’d go 3 and 1/2 stars if that was available.

Work related for my husband. I just came along.

This place was great. It was quiet. We walked to the town square once, but thought the cars were going way over 30 mph, but maybe it was because the sidewalk was right next to the road. My dog was pretty chill there. Being someplace different didn't seem to effect him at all. Communication was non-existent, except we did get the address and code for door before we got there. The questions I asked, never got answered, fortunately, I guess I didn't need them addressed or answered.

Charming little house and dog friendly!

Perfect location for hikes In Sewanee, Jack Daniels tour, and concert at the Caverns. Also close to town square of Winchester and nice restaurants. Our dogs loved the back yard as well.

This home was true to it's pictures and description. It was one of the top cleanest homes we have ever rented! The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the home had a warm and cozy vibe with it's decor and furnishings. We would stay here again!

Great Stay-Winchester, TN

Overall this was a great rental. Owner had the cottage well furnished from top to bottom with everything we needed. Secure internet was a big plus. Also Pet Friendly. Kitchen was well equipped with excellent appliances, cookware, dishes etc. Furnishings were comfortable and decor was great. Would definitely recommend the Little Yellow Cottage.

Just right

This house was very clean and easy to find. It was great to have a Keurig with different coffee pods. The treat basket was nice. The sunroom was nice in the morning before it got real hot out. Really need some type of storage in the bedrooms. No place to put luggage. Other than that it was a great stay.
