WiFi in room was not working. My husband had to go to the lobby for access. Food was ok. If you have left overs from dinner out there is a small refrigerator in the room and microwave access in the lobby to heat food. Beds were fine. Best part of the hotel was the shuttle to town and the colonial area & overall location. The staff were very nice & helpful.

The front desk staff are so helpful. They go into detail of the grounds and accessing Colonial Williamsburg. The rooms are cleaned daily and continental breakfast daily for 3.5 hours. Highly recommended.

The location of this hotel is very convenient if you are planning on exploring the historical sites in Williamsburg as it is right next to the visitor center. The location is somewhat remote so in the evening it is dark and scary to be outside. The parking lots are not very well lit or in good condition. We were given a very smelly room as we were traveling with our emotional support dog. There are no exhaust fans in the bathrooms, so everything in the bathroom travels into the bedroom and stays there. There are dehumidifiers in every room, which are very loud and don’t add a positive touch to the experience. The stuff is very friendly and knowledgeable so five stars for that. The breakfast is very limited with mostly dry goods. The coffee is awful. Do not recommend.

Decent Hotel Option Close to the Historic Area

Very clean and extremely convenient to the visitors center. The WATA bus makes two stops nearby - 1 at Visitors Center, the other at the hotel itself. There’s a scenic walking trail to the historic area itself. The continental breakfast has a variety of options although there’s only a hot option every other day. I traveled solo but I could see this being great for families. There’s includes activities such as mini golf and pool, a laundry room, etc. A couple of water fountains so bring your reusable bottle and save some $$ and and planet.

The hotel was very nice, staff super helpful. The king room was big, very clean huge bathroom with toiletries (shampoo/conditioner/body wash lavender lemongrass aromatherapy), big towels, bath mat, great water pressure. Being king suite 2nd sink, fridge&microwave. The pool was big, lots seating & huge towels provided and kids splash pad was really nice. The continental breakfast varied and was more than enough choices including GLUTEN free if needed. Tons of parking as well. If wanted to walk to the colonial area 15min along concrete walkway or if drive just few minutes. Definitely would stay again. Many stars for families( 24hr mini golf, ping pong, shuffleboard, corn hole)

This place is not maintained. The microwave at the front desk was extremely dirty and nasty. Overall the hotel was not clean from the rooms to the hallways. Avoid it at all cost.

We had booked a king suite through Expedia as a last minute trip to celebrate our 50th anniversary in one of our favorite historical sites, Colonial Williamsburg. Upon arrival, the hotel gave us a double bed room with a small bed and handicap bathroom. We are not handicapped and were worried about using the shower because the curtain didn’t reach the floor and we were concerned that water would go everywhere. We were not offered a king room for our second night. The breakfast was ok but very crowded. We had to eat our food in the only chairs available without a table.

Checking in was slow. They only had two clerks that were handling both check in and concierge services. Parking was easy and the room was much larger than I had expected with a little living room and separate bedroom. The room was clean. The AC struggled a little to keep the large room cool, but worked fine when I shut the bedroom door. In fact the bedroom door was a blessing bc the room next to me had a kid who kept screaming and shouting. However, when I closed the bedroom door it helped cut down the outside sound. The internet signal was VERY WEAK. And several of the outlets in the room were shorting out. Some of the lights would constantly flicker, which was annoying. Lastly, the breakfast the next morning was disappointing. Aside from coffee and juice they only had hard boiled eggs, some toast, bagels, cereal, and fruit. I’ve seen better breakfast spreads at cheaper hotels. Anyhow, the place clearly needs an update, but it was spacious and well-located and safe. And the latter was the most important to me since I was traveling solo.

It was nice, but didn’t blow me away in any aspect. The room was okay- the pull out sofa was completely unusable, but thankfully we had packed a blowup mattress. It was slightly outdated, but still felt clean and cozy. The pool and splash pad were a nice feature to have but could definitely use some updating/cleaning. The breakfast was hit or miss- they struggled with keeping it stocked during the rush. The area outside and around the hotel definitely needs updating, cleaning up, and repairs- it looked like some areas might have been being worked on so fingers crossed they are already working on that. The staff was kind and friendly. The location was great for being close to the historic area and to Busch Gardens!
