The good:, excellent staff! These people understand the hospitality assignment and are superb brand representatives! I enjoyed the amenities and care like the ice cream, wonderful breakfast, fruit flavored water. The bad: pool area was dangerously slippery. I can’t believe that every day there’s been no one falling. Even an employee almost fell just walking normally. I was disappointed by the room I will admit. A suite to me means a separate little “room” where there is a couch/sleeper sofa. Not 2 beds and a couch jammed into one room with a sink and fridge around a corner. The fridge had no freezer compartment. The microwave was pretty useless in only heating in 30 second increments. The bags were not placed in the trash cans. Sorry, housekeeping is NOT my job. Other than that, I DID appreciate my stay here and would recommend it. You can’t beat kind staff.

Great hotel except one issue

Stay was great. Rooms were very nice and clean. Staff were super great. Only thing I didn’t like about our room was that we always are beside the elevator and the ice machine. Both are very loud. Teenagers ran up and down the hall loading ice till 2 am and then at 5:30 a man and his child were filling up a cooler with ice. While the child was screaming to her mom up the hall. Not the hotels fault but I was looking to get some rest on vacation.

The complimentary ice cream in the lobby was a nice touch. But only one elevator was working for both housekeeping and guest, and it was extremely slow and small. If you had a cart to move your luggage or return, you could expect a 10 minute wait at times since an arriving elevator usually had housekeeping or another guest on it with a cart of their own.

The kids enjoyed the indoor pool because it rained. I like that the attractions where close to the hotel and they had free snacks. My grandkids enjoyed the park and movie theater that where close by. The hotel is family friendly, and staff always greet with a smile every time I visit.

This springhill suites is the best I have experienced! It is clean, friendly, great amenities like a workout room and an indoor pool and hot tub. They also have a great breakfast. The staff are very pleasant. I recommend this Springhill Suites to anyone visiting the Williamsburg-Yorktown area.

We love Spring Hill suites, and typically try to find one whenever we travel. The layout is perfectly suited for our family of 5. However, this time were in a hearing impaired/accessible room and the overall quality of the room was much lower that the others. We’re glad we were able to secure a room, but this was a let down for us. We have come to expect great quality from Spring Hill, but this time did not live up to those expectations.
