Not good experience and had to leave

First room assigned and door was open ajar and had evidence of bathroom construction work when out of building door was uneven and tripped causing pain and bedrest the next few days leaving checking out to go home early Saturday morning. Also a lizard was in unit which caused fear

Mothers Day Trip

We went for Mother's Day weekend on a whim. The condo was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed except ice. The bathroom was a good size with prompt hot water and had a strong pressure. The facility had a large pool as well as an adult pool. There was a snack bar and also a bar at the pool. The hot tub stayed packed so unfortunately we couldn't use that. They also had an indoor pool and an arcade area for kids. Overall great experience and safe with a guard house. Good value but we did attend a 90 minute sales presentation which turned into 3 hours.

We loved the two bedrooms, living room, eat-in kitchen and two bathrooms. Even though we didn’t use it, this was the first time we had a washer and dryer in our unit.

A wonderful place to stay for a family

Our family of 5 loved this place! It had something for each of us to enjoy - pool, bar and restaurant, movie theater, mini golf, an arcade, outdoor games. The suite we were in was spacious with everything we could need, and it was reasonably priced, which attracted me to it. We shortened an amusement park day so we could enjoy all the activities for an evening at the hotel.

Wyndham -if you say NO to the showcase….then you better not need anything…cause you ain’t getting it. I want to be honest and open here- dealing with reception at Kingsgate not only the day of check in, but the next morning, was a complete turn off from a resort we have loved bringing our family to for years. In general, my reviews of the resorts in Williamsburg have always been in the 4-5 ⭐️ range with only a few exceptions. Sadly- this time, the only postive things I can say is that the mini golf course is STILL perfect for families and it was nice to see the family outdoor pool open on Saturday after being told it was not likely going to be open when we arrived Thursday. The rooms have been updated, but the master bathroom sink in 31-201A was gross and the coffee pot was leaking terribly and was not fixed as promised.

I paid for a two bedroom, balcony suite in full five months before my visit. Two days before my check-in Wyndham Kingsgate called to tell my I was being downgraded to a one-bedroom. They refused to refund me the difference between what I paid and what was provided to me. To make matters worse, one of the front desk managers offered to refund me the $38.00 resort fee as a good faith gesture for my situation. They lied right to my face and never gave me the refund. It isn't about the money so much as the dishonesty and misleading information they gave me. Just another example of the big corporation ripping off the customer with impunity, just to squeeze a few more extra dollars from us.

Dated and the rooms are small. Too much of a push for timeshare when arrived late at night after driving 8 hours. Sales associate was rude when I told her we weren’t interested and were tired so we just wanted our room keys. They won’t give you your key until they give their sales pitch. Annoying!

First time staying here. The property is amazing for families. It’s very safe and secluded with a gated entrance. There plenty to do such as the arcade, movies, pool and activities. However, we were not able to get into our assigned place until 5pm. With 3 kids traveling over 6 hours and dinner plans, this was less than ideal. I’m aware there’s many people checking in at one time, but then there should be some kind of warning that you may not check in at 4 considering people travel far and make evening plans. Overall, amazing stay. Highly recommend.

It's a solid property. The best point is the rooms. They are well-designed and well-equipped. The pools and game rooms are also decent. The weakest point is the check-in. It is kept slow by design so that timeshare reps have extra time to try to sell the timeshares. That's no fun.

The toilet,sink and tub was stopped up all weekend. A lot of the games in the game room was out of order. I didn’t get any sleep because the kids and adults above us were stumping and running around. I loved coming here but this is my last time. The property is going down hill.

I did not appreciate their customer service. As well as their sales rep pushing for us to do a presentation and making us put a deposit down or we didn’t get our keys. They were so pushy and the only reason I agreed was because I had my 5 year old and it was 10pm. Overall resort was fine. Lots of things to do with kids and staff was friendly but not in the main office.
