Let me just say , the resort itself is nice with a fabulous beach view . However the regular rooms and beds along with food isn’t worth it. Me and my spouse booked a room with a king bed and they put two twin size beds together . The mattresses were very uncomfortable and beds were on wheels so they kept moving out of place, showers could’ve been cleaned better..there were mold visible and no shower curtains or anything to stop water from getting on floor ao you’d have to shower with water low as possible to avoid it overflowing and getting on floor, also theres no wash cloths to bathe with. We haven’t gotten hardly any sleep our whole trip due to how uncomfortable the mattresses were. Breakfast was nice but due to eating outside, it’s overwhelming with birds everywhere trying to take your food . Lunch and dinner wasn’t really good but the burgers there were ok . The drinks were watered down, I couldn’t get a buzz after having 3 drinks. Overall the vibe was nice and scenery was very nice but beds and basic rooms is the only reason I wouldn’t stay back at this resort. The staffs were very helpful, nice and welcoming.helped with taxi service

The property is beautiful and is well kept. Unlike other reviews I have read, the staff was attentive and friendly. It does take a while for service, but that is everywhere on the island. It is a relaxed atomsphere. I found if you were kind and friendly, then you will be treated the same. Our housekeeper had our room stocked. I cannot wait for our next trip back to Kontiki.

The place is amazing, quiet and safe. You feel at home. Lysandra is super informative and helped us getting a car and also she is friendly. The only down thing was getting the coffee machine but not getting water to add to the machine, and the fridge was dirty. We left with wanting to come back. And we will. Curacao is amazing!

The resort grounds and restaurants were beautiful and very well kept. It had such a relaxed vibe and lots of character all throughout the resort. We enjoyed our stay very much. The main issue that we had was that the room itself was not as clean and well kept as the rest of the resort. It seems to be lacking the deep cleaning that should be done in addition to the regular housekeeping. The floor in our room was vinyl and it felt dirty and gross. The floors need an upgrade. It would be much nicer if the room had tile or wood floors. I did not like walking on them in my bare feet. I can only speak for the room we stayed in. The newer luxury buildings may be much more clean. As for the restaurants, we preferred to eat right next door at the restaurants at Mambo Beach. The resort restaurants were overpriced. Also, the communication at the resort was lacking. The front desk wasn’t very helpful or engaged with guests. It would have helped if they had guest services or guest relations staff mingling with guests regularly.

My husband and I really loved the resort and all of the activities. The staff was extremely attentive and always on call when we needed them. Our only complaint was the noise from the construction crew that started at around 8:45 to 9:00 at night. I guess they were preparing for the event the followig evening, which was fun by the way. I think guest should be warned before hand and given the option to stay or be placed in another room. Once again, it was not the beach party that was annoying, it was the construction that occurred late in the evening the night before. However once we made staff aware that this is not what we expected, they moved us to another room. It was a bit of a hassle to have to get our things together after 10 pm (yes the construction was still gping on)and move to another room away from the noise. However we did appreciate them giving us the opportunity to move to a different location. One other thing, we could never get the patio door to lock in the first room after three tries wirh maintenace. Hopefully you guys were able to get that fixed for the next guest. If it not for those two things I would've given my overall experience 5 stars.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Even though on the first day we had ants in our bathroom and very low water pressure from the shower, the kontiki team resolved the situations and made our stay awesome! We loved the beach and being so close to mambo boulevard. The resort was in a perfect location and the pools were beautiful.

The pictures of this facility is not the same as in person. The smell of sewer throughout, you pay for everything literally. We paid for our transportation there and they accused us of not paying. They were trying to keep my deposit. I have traveled many places , this by far is the worse.
