Hotels.com booked us for a king suite with 2 queens and a jing bed amd when we got there they said there was none availble and Hotels.com overbooked us. We were originally placed in a 2 double bed room which is not whay we paid for. The guy at the feont desk was cery understanding and got us the room we ordered a few hours later.

Dirty rooms and uninformed front desk staff

Uninformed front desk staff. No knowledge of surroundings whatsoever. Did not fulfill any requests to be brought up to room. Cleanliness was an issue as there were a few cockroaches were in room.

There was no room cleaning for the 4 days we were there. I understand that sometimes you may need to request it or resources are limited, but after asking 3 different days, I got 3 completely different answers on the reason...front desk said I'm supposed to put out a card on door, another front desk person (different day) said no problem, we'll clean it tomorrow, it never happened. I ran into one of the staff cleaning ladies and asked politely any chance the room could be serviced. She indicated they only cleaned rooms on certain days but would make an exception for me. I said I don't need it clean but if we could just have fresh towels and toilet paper (we only had two towels and were out of toilet paper)...Why would the staff who work in the same property have 3 different answers...it made me think the front desk just said anything to pacify the customer but had no intention of following up. If I was told up front, that rooms are only cleaned on xx day, etc, it all would be fine and I would accept that. I just felt the staff either do not know or purposely misrepresented.

Our family stayed 5 total nights at this property. Overall, our stay was OK. The family room met our needs, the beds were comfortable, and the location was within good walking distance from the InTrust Arena. We were there for the NCAA basketball tournament. The parts that we did not appreciate were that most areas of the hotel were dirty, especially along the baseboards, tile, windows, breakfast area, etc. The side door had homeless people hanging out and there were random clothes and food containers spread all over. There was a very bad odor outside the hotel, near the side door, that emanated from water that was leaking from the hotel. Furthermore, the breakfast was pretty poor. Although breakfast was included in the price of the room, nothing at the breakfast bar was tasty. Every morning, they ran out of cups, utensils, coffee, etc. Even the coffee did not taste good. Also, the bar was laid out poor, so the people that were getting their food were constantly running into each other. A bit more thought could make the line run much more efficiently. Overall, this should not be a 3 star hotel. I would call it a 2 star.

Overall everything was good. At check-in the gentleman at the desk was cordial but only said about 10 total words and was not overly welcoming. Was not rude but felt like he was only there because it was his job. The next morning, leaving to checkout, no elevator was working (only one worked the day before) so was inconvenient coming down from the 4th floor. I would stay here again as it is very close to where I needed to be and the room was comfortable but these things need to be addressed.

Go somewhere else!

Homeless people just hung out in the parking lot and inside the lobby. The hotel had a terrible smell. Walls had holes in them, chipped paint, stains on the floors and towels. I would never stay here again.

Do not book here!!! Had 3 of the smallest pillows I have ever seen in a hotel, elevators broken, staff not helpful at all when asked for more pillows said sorry we are fully booked. Air conditioning unit squealed all night!

This place used old photos on website. This place is not worthy of the Wyndham name. Last time I was here, it had a nice bar and lobby. Now the bar is a crappy breakfast area and the once nice eatery is a cheap looking Indian restaurant with the open sign lit and the door chained shut. The front door barely opened. The east elevator trapped us for a few minutes, do not use it. I tripped walking out. Not Level with floor. Look at my review pics. This place was filthy. They also used cheap soaps, not the good Wyndham ones. Towels not matched like a Wyndham. I called about some drunks at 1:05 am. I called three times. Someone answered the phone each time. When I gave them my complaint, they went silent and did nothing. That why I called three times. No reaction from management. I was about To call the Wichita police due to management inaction, then the drunks got quiet and kept the noise low. I think someone bought this place, lives in it, and answers phone at night while they are sleeping. Filthy, dirty plain lobby, and no night management for security. Also contacting Wyndham directly to complain. Went to lobby to ask for refund. Did not get one. This is a roach motel, not enough picture space to showcase true filth.
