This was our fourth and last Wyndham hotel of our trip, and unfortunately, we'd been extremely disappointed by the previous three. But gratefully this one was great! The staff was wonderful, and the room was really nice. This was what I had been expecting from a Wyndham, and unfortunately the previous places had major issues with maintenance/cleanliness. But not the Pittsburgh/West Mifflin Wyndham - it was exactly what we'd hoped it to be. I'd recommend it, and would stay there again.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. It is run down, people smoke inside (it reeks of smoke) despite it being a non-smoking hotel, and things are dirty/broken (for example, the door stopper lock was almost falling out of the wall, like someone had kicked in the door and it wasn’t fixed). The first morning we were there we were awoken to a domestic violence issue at 6am -with a man yelling and threatening to kill a woman, her screaming in fear, and children crying. The police came. We were on the bottom level, as in basement level below reception, and the fight was amongst people living out of the hotel. Earlier that night people in the same rooms were yelling at each other inside their rooms and in the hallway. We didn’t want to leave our room for ice or to have to pass/interact with people fighting. It was scary. The price was not cheap (we booked on Expedia). Staff overall were really nice - but the other issues mean we will not stay here again.
