Engineer’s Suite - Lakefront 2 Bedroom Cabin with Kayaking near Florence

The Engineer's Suite is the largest and most elaborately decorated cabin at Siltcoos Station Retreats.

Adorned with vintage furnishings and antiques, the 2-Bedroom suite reflects the property's history as a former train station.

Notable features include a clawfoot tub, an antique stove, and period-specific décor honoring the 1920's train engineers.

Sleeping spaces include:
-1st bedroom with a Queen bed and additional loft (kids love it!) with a twin bed.
-2nd bedroom with a Double and additional loft with twin bed
-A day bed in the living room with 2 twin beds

**Note: The rail line is still active with trains coming through on average once a day. Our windows and doors are heavily insulated to minimize noise.

Cabins all include a desk and rolling chair for those needing creative inspiration or a quiet workspace. Complimentary wifi access and tranquil views make this spot an excellent spot to check-in for work.

Fishing on the lake includes coho salmon, steelhead trout, rainbow trout, largemouth bass, perch, bluegill, and catfish. The property offers easy access to our marina, pier, and docks.

***Please notify hosts if you plan on bringing a water vessel and require mooring/parking as space is limited***

There is one pontoon boat for rent on site and 3 kayaks and a canoe for complimentary guest use on a first-come-first-served basis.

Other outdoor activities include foraging for mushrooms and berries (during the seasons). There are many nearby hikes for the trail enthusiast and the ocean is a short drive away. Nearby Florence offers shopping, riverfront restaurants, and other outdoor activities like waterfall hikes, crabbing, clamming, charter fishing, and more.
