We checked out after the 6th night of a 7-night reservation and asked for a refund for the unused night. The manager denied it, citing that “the hotel was sold out.” That makes zero sense — a sold-out hotel benefits from an extra room suddenly becoming available. It’s baffling that this was used as a reason not to issue a refund.
Even more frustrating was the manager’s tone. Instead of recognizing that we've stayed at another Hilton hotel for many weeks earlier this year, as we pointed out to her, she dismissed my loyalty with a snide comment about my being a member “only since last year.” Completely uncalled for and incredibly rude.
It’s clear this hotel values rigid policies and condescension over logic and guest loyalty. A disappointing and off-putting experience. Frequent travelers, take note — there are better-managed options out there.
