Located on the Mimitangiatua river mouth and with access to Mimi beach our home welcomes guests (adults and children 10+) to their own private and luxurious "residential wing" with full kitchen, dining and cosy lounge area. Relax and enjoy breathtaking views, extraordinary bird and sea life and spectacular sunsets. Take a walk on the beach, have a swim or bring your fishing rod and try your luck! We invite you to join us here in our own slice of paradise and relax. Please note we do not cater for children.

A perfect retreat

Such a beautiful nesting place and such amazing hosts! Incredibly peaceful and relaxing and just so gorgeous, very highly recommended.

Peaceful nothing

Close enough to be easy far enough to feel like a real escape. We were looking for a weekend of nothing. Beach bliss, fishing, watching the tide roll in and out and the sun go up and down. Just what the doctor ordered. Great hosts who went the extra mile to make our stay relaxing.

Very comfortable clean modern place to stay. Very peaceful with a great view of the river. Loved our walk along the beach. Pauline and Roy are lovely friendly hosts - we had a most enjoyable stay.

Amazing stay, beautiful view and so quiet from such a busy Auckland life.

I absolutely recommend this venue for couples or even small families looking to just stay somewhere that’s a nice getaway for them and only 16 minutes from the nearest small township for food and petrol

Quiet oasis

Comfortable with views

We had a great stay at Mimi Beach. The views are spectacular as is the walk to the beach. And, the bed is THE most comfortable bed we've ever slept in while travelling. Thanks for being great hosts Pauline and Roy!
