The staff are superb. Very helpful and kind. It’s a fabulous historic place with beautiful acres of land and gardens.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay overnight at Oulton Park Hotel. The staff were very welcoming, the room was first class and the evening meal was brilliant. The only problem we had was getting lost - perhaps not a bad thing in such a lovely hotel. We will be back!

ALTHOUGH THE HOTEL WAS VERY BUSY WITH A CONFERENCE DURING MY RECENT STAY, STAFF WERE GREAT, PARTICULARLY GEORGIA AND JULIA IN THE BAR AREA WITH THEIR CHEERY JOVIAL BANTER WHILST SERVING. NICE TO HEAR THE ART OF CONVERSATION IS NOT DEAD. GLAD TO SEE THE AIR CONDITIONING IN ROOMS IS BACK WORKING AGAIN.

Lovely weekend

Had a lovely stay ay Oulton Hall. From the check-in to meals in the restaurant, to drinks in the bar and use of the gym all the staff were friendly and made you feel welcome. The hotel is such a beautiful location and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Can't wait to come back

Lovely hotel with great comfortable seating in lounges and dining room. Lift broken and food quality at breakfast wasn’t great. Rooms looking pretty tired. Bed wasn’t comfortable. Swimming pool and gym great and well equipped

Overall, enjoyable

Hotel is in lovely grounds and it was nice to sit on the large patio with a drink and unwind, overlooking the grounds. Staff were all very friendly. Dinner and breakfast were both mostly very good but the waiting staff were struggling to keep up, just down to demand, etc. there was a couple of different functions on and whilst the hotel kept them away from the other residents, it was fairly noisy as all went back to their rooms singing or shouting, but that’s just thoughtless people rather than the fault of the hotel but I would recommend end of corridor rooms for that reason. But I do have to thank the management, who were able to move our booking at very short notice, when they didn’t have to!

Whilst we did overall have a very nice stay and an excellent night sleep. I did come away feeling a little disapointed, the bathroom was tired with inside the bath tub stained, the handle was falling off the door to the wardrobe and the ironing board collapsed whilst using it as it was past its best amongst a few other little things. Whilst these things arent major for the cost of the room they were a let down. The overall hotel is lovely and a very pretty setting, with friendly staff. I wouldnt be put off staying again although not at the same cost.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with beautiful grounds, only disappointment was the room on relation to cost when was slightly dated and a view of the bins and then to be woken quite early on a weekend whilst the bins were emptied/collected.

Lovely hotel

Excellent hotel in a lovely setting. Haley on reception was very helpful and friendly. We had Sunday lunch in the Claret Jug and the staff and food were excellent, highly recommend. Breakfast was delicious and again the restaurant staff were helpful and friendly. Great stay.

The staff don’t care, avoid

The staff don’t care. Can we check in it’s 10 minutes before 3… just a flat no with zero care to why or even a quick check to see if the room is ready. One gentleman raised a query about his tv not working, he was made to feel stupid when the person on the desk said “it’s usually simple to get the tv on”, but no offer to ask someone to come and see if something was not normal after the very polite customer had said he had tried everything and it was important for him to have a working tv. Then when we did check in they confirmed that a sofa bed had been made up for our son, get to the room, no sofa bed. Tried calling no answer which is odd there was 3 or 4 staff at the desk a minute ago with no customers. On check out despite being prepaid the person said so will just charge to the card you provided, so I had to prove it was prepaid. In a word, avoid.
