We thought we were booking a whole bungalow with 2 bedrooms so it was a surprise to find that it is a bungalow divided into 3 flats. However we much appreciated the owner letting us stay longer as we had a car breakdown.

Pet friendly home with great character

Perfect location for exploring the south coast, hiking trails. Secure outdoor area for our dog. Well appointed kitchen. Modern amenities tastefully blended with the original character of the house. Some lovely period pieces. Host very good with communication and available. Would stay here again

We are familiar with Wellington but for those who are not there was no info pack at this accommodation with instructions about rubbish collection and local info such as cafes etc. There needs to be more care taken with cleaning of house as somethings were missed. Crockery was chipped and tired. There were no frying pans and the sheets were microfibre. The sheets were changed to cotton after we complained. This place has quite a high daily tariff and so it was disappointing to have these basics not provided. It could be a great place to stay if these issues were addressed and more care taken.

Quiet place with character

Peaceful place with character, no noise and a pleasant outlook. Worked well for two couples, with everything we needed on hand. A nice base to explore Wellington from.

Hi. Great place but a bit tricky to find in the dark. There were 4 different houses with 20 and unsure which it was to start with. Otherwise great.
