The morning of our planned rental, traveling with a family of two adults and four children, I contacted host for access information, only to be told that this listing was no longer available. The host attempted to move us to another of his listings that only had two bedrooms - not ideal for our family setting - or to give us a full refund. When asked for a discount on the smaller property, a very minimal discount was offered. We quickly scrambled and were able to find a different property that would suit our families needs better than the two bedroom that was offered, so asked for the full refund. Although the host has told me that he has given the full refund, I have not yet received all of those funds back. I would definitely not utilize properties by this host in the future.

Convenient but very cold

The windows are all single glazed and even with all the heaters on it was still only 15-16 degrees after 10 hours. Wu, the owner, was helpful but the oven doesn't heat properly. It's not a domestic oven, but a commercial fan bake oven but the element must have gone in it. It was supplemented the next day by an air fryer, but that doesn't have the capacity to cook for five people.Would probably be a lovely spot in summer but I wouldn't book again when it's cold in Wellington...
