Staff were very welcome and friendly. Some of the rooms are a bit far from the main building and amenities, and the older rooms are a bit small and outdated, but you can tell they are doing work to update. Over all, it is a nice, quiet little hotel and we would definitely stay again!

Overall the yankee in is great, room good size, nice balcony, beds comfortable and clean, I like the shampoo & conditioner presentation, bathroom clean. Breakfast was good, I wish it was more variety of fruits. Front desk workers were just friendly, they answer & offered suggestions only if we asked. Not real engagement and cleaning crew was great. 👍

This motel is an original from the 50's or 60's. I would not say it has been renovated, it has been updated and merticusly maintained over the years. The ambience is truly retro. In an instant I recognized this is a loved family owned property.

Great stay-- would stay here again-- safe, nice welcome from Cameron at front desk, room was clean and cozy. Bed was very comfortable. Didn't have breakfast. I usually stay in Pittsfield at a hotel that has given me a discount since March when my mother was put into a nursing home. I normally try to come down twice a month from CNY--needless to say it is expensive for me.. Random question-- do you offer discounts?

The room was very clean and updated. The entire team place was recently updated and renovated - a real improvement from a year ago. The free breakfast was generous and varied, and the TV had 100 free channels. Friendly front desk and housekeeping staff. Only downside was the rooms could use some soundproofing. The people in the room above us were running across the floor and loudly opening and closing the sliding porch door repeatedly at night while we were trying to sleep. We stayed 2 nights in October and got very reasonable rates.
