Beautiful Location

Staff are fantastic. Room was sparkling clean. Neighborhood is gorgeous. Walking distance to a Trader Joes, Kennedy Center, and I walked to the Swedish Embassy and then to the National Mall. I know not all travelers can do that but I only travel with a backpack so it was quite ok. The little kitchenette was great because I did my dinner and breakfast shop at Trader Joes.

Location was great, if you want to use the metro. The hotel is old annd needs some renovation, for example, we couldn't chamge the AC temperature with the thermostat. Fridge was not working bit they changed it immediately. Room service was perfect. Super clean.

The staff were very responsive and hospitable. Rooms are spacious and the location is very convenient for me. I also like the students vibe around GWU. The only caveat is the bathroom which could be improved.

The room was great, except it was really cold. I could hardly sleep. The temperature showed 67 (end of April), and I got sick. The only other thing was the office chair, which is not very good for extended work periods. Very nice people. Super easy to get to and from. Mostly quiet. I'd stay again, but I'd need to know the heating is ok

The staff was amazing, they were so friendly and eager to help.. The only one issue was we had two 1 bedroom suites, when we arrived, the air conditioners were pretty much not working in both rooms.. The staff immediately send someone to fix the air conditioners in both rooms. The hotel is very well kep... I would definitly stay there again...

The room was clean and spacious and the staff were super friendly. But I was hoping the room was quieter but you can still hear traffic and construction probably because the windows are pretty old. The blinds and windows could be cleaner too. The Internet speed was slow. Having said all above, I would still rate it 4 out of 5. The neighborhood is nice and relatively close to everything.

Great hotel, big rooms!

I would definitely rate this hotel as excellent. The staff was great, the room is quite large and it was very quiet. The bed is very comfortable and I didn’t wake up a single time. Love the modern decor from the lamps to the tables, etc. Overall an A+ experience!

We won't return, but would work well for many.

Quaint hotel in a lovely, slightly off the beaten track, area of D.C.. Property needs a little TLC, but the general hotel, and our room, were very clean. Room was well sized. Kitchenette was tired, but had most of what we needed. The shower pressure was poor, and the sofa bed was awful. If you're travelling as a four in one room, perhaps consider other hotels who can appropriately accomodate; our 9 year olds were not impressed, and they love a sofa bed! The check in and out process was good, and the people/staff even better. If you're happy to walk 30 minutes (or metro in 15) to the sites, are not all about aesthetics, like a quiet spot, .can live with a weak shower, and value good staff, this is a decent hotel. Our issue was we value some of the aforementioned a little more than the hotel could offer.
