Better pillows needed!

We liked the hotel. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were awful! They are too big, thick and hard. Not comfortable at all. Neither of us slept well because of them. Because we couldn't sleep, it made us feel exhausted the next day while touring around DC. Everything else was fine. Consider more comfortable pillows.

I was left stranded in the street for a night because apparently coming 15 minutes before the literal next day was too much for them to handle. I think they had the available room due to speaking to customer service, but the receptionist was like 'oh you should come at 3pm on the dot, then we will let you in.' Thank God I had money to buy a hotel for one night. I also did not get my complimentary breakfast as no one told me.

Front desk staff were personable, helpful, professional and efficient. Breakfast was previously included with the room charge - disappointingly not any more. Even with added charge, breakfast was not consistent due to "kitchen problems"

If I knew

The first night I stayed in a King bed/sofa and there was NO HEAT.. Second night the representative states that we need to move you to another room because maintenance has to wait for a part to fix the problem. I was moved to a Queen bed and my parking fee was settled due to the no heat issue. What about my refund?
