We're just a short walk to public transportation, making it easy to get around the city. Metro stations close by are Fort Totten (Green and Red) and Takoma (Red) station. There are tons of scooters and other app rentable transportation outside of the house to make getting around much easier. Street parking is available for guests with no restrictions, and additional off street parking can be made available.

Very accommodating. Not one detail missed. The host was extremely responsive and made me feel as if i were talking with a friend. We felt very much at home. The bed in the bedroom is super comfy, we slept great. My teen slept on the large couch, his friend slept on a high quality air mattress (host provided) and they both slept great too. Kitchen is fully equipped. We used the laundry machines, they work perfectly. Everything was super clean. Absolutely highly recommend. We will know exactly where to stay on our next trip.

Washington DC trip

The property was perfect for our trip. It was clean, comfortable and spacious for 2 people. The neighborhood was lovely and we felt safe during our stay. The property manager was quick to respond when I had to contact him because I accidentally locked the wrong lock and couldn't get back in the apartment. He was kind and polite and helped us get back in quickly.The off street parking spot was a nice bonus. We were steps away from a metro bus stop. If we ever make it back to DC, we would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, nicely furnished property with a good amount of space for 2 people. Parking is a little tight if you have a large vehicle, but street parking is available. Good area for walking a dog. Excellent communication from the owner.

Friendly and safe neighborhood location within walking distance to train stations, restaurants and grocery stores. Steps away from bus stops. A guide that included appliance instructions and wi-fi information would have been helpful. We did however, receive a quick response to our wi-fi password inquiry from the host. We found it to be a good value for our stay.

I was surprised that there was no "guide" for the location. I expected some instructions for Wi-Fi, appliance functions, procedure for linens at checkout, etc. Also, the description mentions a hot tub--there wasn't one. Other than those items, the property was great!

Girl Trip

My daughter and I travel to a different state every year to see our favorite band, this year we chose Maryland but want to tour DC. This place was absolutely perfect for us. Nice quiet neighborhood close to everything we needed. The bed was super comfy and we got a quick response for any questions we had. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Very Nice Apartment Great Location

Good size comfortable sitting room/sleep area kitchen and bathroom. Very clean and well furnished. Communication with host was excellent. As a personal preference I found the number of ceiling lights to be a bit excessive.

Great Trip, Property has Phenomenal Potential

We had a great trip, and Arselan was very supportive and accommodating of any request we made. Communication was timely. The property is located in an area convenient to pretty much anywhere in the DC area. Currently, above the rental property in his house, it’s undergoing a renovation, so we’re of the opinion the property might should not have been advertised as a quiet place for the duration of the work. It could be quite loud, especially during the day. There are also a few items we believe should have been made available in the property that weren’t, such as hand towels and oven mitts, but those are an easy fix. Overall we would stay there again and we do recommend.

As Described

The property was clean and efficient. I didn't use the kitchen so I can't speak to that. The property was close to where I was going so it worked for me. If I had done the reno, I would have asked my electrician to put in more switches. When one walks in and flips the switch, there are 11 halogens that light up. No way to switch it off near the bed, so you had to have a flashlight/I-phone to go from the wall switch to the bed. A bed lamp would have been handy. I would stay there again because it was close to my relative's house.
