Beautiful spot in Foggy bottom. Smaller rooms but great for sleeping while exploring the city. Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, regardless of size. Food options in house are awesome and the rooftop bar is an experience.

I took my daughter to DC for her school break and found this hotel due to price, location and she would think the room was cool. I am I hesitant to share how great the hotel is because the rates will go up ! Lol. The staff is beyond phenomenal. They are a young group but kudos to them for being customer obsessed, solution oriented and just nice people. I have to give whomever is the Manager or HR credit for hiring and training. They text to make sure things are going well and respond to requests. The ROOMS ARE NOT for everyone. We stayed in bunk beds which my 10 yr old loved. They each had their own TV and the room was very hip and super clean. There are queens and I think doubles, but small. I met a healthcare CEO who was a bit dazed at her room. What do they say, "it's so small you can turn the key to the door and break a window" lol. The location is for blocks from the Metro, safe, right in the middle of GW and 15 minute walk to Lincoln Memorial. There's a quiet bar, great pizza place and rooftop bar that was closed due to weather. It's 21+ BTW. Overall we would return in a minute due to the young vibrant staff. I have forgotten names ( sorry ! I waited) but they are phenomenal. Thank you Hive

This was perhaps my error, but I did not see that this was a "micro hotel" while booking. It would have been nice to have had a biiiiiiit more space, as well as a small fridge. My room was also below the lobby (I think) so it was a bit noisy. My recommendation for the hotel would be to invest in some curtains, as the blinds still allowed for a LOT of light to get in at night. The complimentary coffee was nice and the staff were wonderful! Overall, it was a good stay and was convenient to where I needed to be in DC.

Excellent stay. Highly recommend. Easy parking, clean, friendly. Very accommodating of our dog, and plenty of nearby places for walks. Very short walk to the Kennedy Center. Only one elevator, and it was out of service on the second day. Other than that, absolutely terrific!

My original room was near the bar and was insanely noisy so I was moved to a room with a black metal bunk bed and no windows. It felt like a jail cell. I immediately left the property and would never recommend staying here!

Breakfast and dinner too few of options. No fresh fruit or veggies in the restaurant. Micro hotel so every thing small. No room in room to workout and no gym. Take card with you when checking out or you’ll be locked out from elevator access and have to lug your bags down the stairs. I was on 5th floor. No free water so buy elsewhere or pay $2.50 bottle. No closet for clothes. Have to request ironing board and iron. Can’t open just one shade. All shades move up and down by remote. Very clean and decent bed.
