The Hive is conveniently located in DC. The breakfast, pizza and beer offerings are great and the roof top bar is a relaxing setting. My complaint comes from our arriving at 4 pm, when check could be at 3 pm, but our room was not ready until after 5 pm. The staff was very apologetic but that was very inconvenient.

Overall very nice and lavish hotel. Only con is since it is DC, the rooms are tight for efficiency. If you only need a spot to rest this is it. Walkable to alot of sights and in a safe area. It has a restaurant and tow bars connected (lounge and rooftop) so at the end of a long day there's no need to go elsewhere. Service was A1 all the staff were amazing!

The hotel is next door to George Washington University. The room was cute. Good use of space. Everybody was helpful and polite. The elevator runs a little slow, but otherwise an enjoyable stay. Oh, and they had umbrellas you could borrow during the rain.

We were first placed in a "buzz" room which is a code name to a basement room. After complaining we were moved to a second floor room. The room was very tiny. Not much bigger than a queen size bed. There was no place for the luggage and the only storage room was under the bed. It was so small that they had to place the sink inside the room under the TV.
