I have never in all my years of traveling, 50 plus, posted a negative review. Unfortunately, I find it necessary to do so now. I must say that even when I have traveled abroad I never experienced lack of hot water to shower. I stayed in this hotel for 2 night at over $200 a night and had to take cold showers. Absolutely unacceptable. When the front desk was notified they remarked that the entire hotel was experiencing the same problem. I did not expect a total refund but some compensation should have been received. I would not recommend this facility unless and until they get their act together. The water situation was not the only thing that was not up to par but it definitely was the most unacceptable.

The property could use some updating and definitely a good cleaning. There was wallpaper peeling and the door to the bathroom was dirty. However, the staff was very nice and when I did have an issue they addressed it immediately. For the price not a terrible stay.

As a young chef, I worked at this property in the late 80s. It has changed hands many times, but not its flag. Someone from corporate Holiday Inn needs to check on things - it just looks very tired, some things work, some doing not. Restaurant offerings are pretty abysmal and expensive as you would expect for Arlington. Price and location are right, so there's that. Staff was excellent, except disengaged server/host/bartender who spend most of his time on his phone.
