Shuttle took 25 minutes after contacting the property to get picked up. Contacted the front desk twice and was told driver was on the way the first time and that he was there the second time, but he wasn’t. First night found a flying bug crawling on the ceiling. Notified the front desk the next morning. They wrote it down and said they’d let housekeeping know. That was that. Other than that, great location, noce rooms, decent price.

A great hotel has all the necessary features: free airport shuttle which starts 4:30am, no any other hotel start at this early. Free breakfast which has many options, fruit, oatmeal, etc. I like the gym, which is much bigger than other hotels I have been staying. We arrived at noon and got into our room without any additional charge. Staff are helpful and warm. Airport shuttle bus driver is very nice and helpful. Bed is comfortable and showers has high pressure and different water styles, very comfortable. Location is good, a lots of restaurants within 5 minutes walk, we liked a Thailand restaurant called Urban Thai. 5 minutes drive to airport & less than 10 minutes to the Washington national mall. Pentagon is nearby. I have been to many same level of hotels, this is the best. We definitely will choose this hotel in the future.

Good location near DC, dining options within walking distance, close to the metro. Nothing fancy but a good hotel to stay. Underground parking without valet service is a huge plus for me.

Northern Virginia hotel stay

If you have children, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. They’re doing a lot of maintenance currently including an elevator which is currently out of order and an upcoming power outage. Due to the elevator repair you’ll either have to wait or walk up flights of stairs to get to your room - neither is ideal with a young child. Their room s are big, but someone manage to let every noise from the street into the room. There are several buses that service the area and you’ll hear every single one of them pass by the hotel. Higher floors might be done, but not the 3rd floor and not for rooms which face the back of the property. Also, if you’re driving here don’t follow Google Maps or you’ll be taken to the back of the property. The front is off Rte 1. The HVAC units are loud turning on and off, again not ideal with a young child. We have to raise the temperature during the evening so it wouldn’t kick on. The showers don’t have any partitions between it and the rest of the bathroom so water gets everywhere unless the showerhead is positioned just perfectly, which is far from ideal. The breakfast is included and that’s the best part about it. The “eggs” looked and tasted like they came from a box or powder. The rest of it was a bunch of carbs outside of a few pieces of fruit and a daily selection of sausage. The location is good and there are lots of restaurants nearby. If you have children, I’m confident you can do better.
