Had a wonderful stay in Alexandria. What a great location and cozy neighborhood. Had to get used to street parking but after the first day I learned the tricks of the trade!! Plenty of space for our family visit in the house! Very clean and everything we needed was available. I definitely recommend staying here for any visit to Alexandria or DC! Thank you so much for making our visit so much better!

Didn’t email code for lock box till after we arrived at property. A place to sleep is the best way to describe it. No real furniture, small “couch” in living room, one chair and one couch in bedroom basement. None comfortable. Has good outdoor area front and down. No place to sit. Ants everywhere outside. Had to open to back of the toilet to jiggle valve to get to refill after every use. Parking on street. If you can find it. Street packed. Most appliances new except fridge. Needs ice maker. Under current condition price should be about 175 top season and 125 off season

On its way to becoming a great vrbo

Michael made sure the a/c was fixed which was no fault of his own. There is an ant issue in the kitchen and traps were out, but it needs more. If there were more kitchen chairs, cooking utensils and ware, handtowels for the bathroom, and more sitting space in the living room we could have connected better as a family. I think it just needs some rearranging and a different layout in the living room space. Or more in the basement. Both toilets didn't fill and flush like they should and we kept adding water to the tanks to get them to flush. I'm sure Michael will get that taken care of. It was a great locarion, peaceful, and walking distance to take the Metro. I would like to stay here again if those suggestions and issues were addressed.

We lost about 25,00 worth of food due to ants, We had bought some chicken and chicked nuggets, We ate some and left the rest on the kitchen counter by the stove. came back in the kitchen about 45 minutes an found the chicken and chicken nuggets covered with ants, Had to throw it all away. The mattresses were old and lumpy and I struggled to get comfortable each night.. Also the heaters were on and the a/c had a hard time trying to keep it cool. In the up stairs bathroom, the commode was constaantly running, after someone used the commode and flushed it we had to wait at least 20-25 minutes before we could flush it again. No I would not stay here again!!

Plenty of space

Nice location…easy 15 minute walk to two metro stations and restaurants…no need for car. Large bedrooms, spacious kitchen, owner very responsive to questions.

The host was incredibly easy to work with and helpful. House was clean with lots of room to relax and work. Location is fantastic for anything you want to do in DC.
