Everything was satisfactory except for the wait to check in. Was told my room wasn't ready due to check in time and I was early, but then watched mutiple guest come abd fet checked right in... put a damper on things

We couldn't check into our room until after 9pm even though we dropped off our bags earlier in the day and were told that our room would be ready by 3pm. Staff were not compassionate and only offered free drinks/breakfast vouchers after I complained. Shame as the hotel itself is very nice but the service seriously lacking.

Things we liked: Modern vibe, cleanliness, great location, two restaurants/bars, comfortable mattress, great maid service, friendly helpful front desk receptionists, wonderful little bistro shop with espresso options, cool and relaxing lounge in the mezzanine area with lowered lighting and comfortable seating - calm and peaceful. Things that weren't so good: -Rooftop bar music was earsplitting at 117 DB as measured by our phone app. -Music in the reception area was loud enough to be irritating -The third floor room was facing the FBI building and was close to the front entrance - the noise level from the street/other rooms after 10 PM was loud enough to keep me awake for several hours. -The bar in the Arrell restaurant was only open till 9:30 PM – would have preferred for it to be open for another couple of hours.

Arlo a great place to stay in DC.

An excellent place to stay with clean rooms in Washington DC. Friendly Staff, especially Jeremy at the front ..very nice person to talk too and he was knowledgeable about the area. Hotel also has a pool and a roof top Bar area with indoor & outdoor seating with a fabulous view of the surrounding area including the U.S. Capitol building. There is also a resturant, we enjoyed the Tapa's one evening for dinner on one side and a Bodega on the other side. There is a parking garage one block from the hotel and nice eating places within walking distance. Building hasa safe feel to it due to way elevators requiring room key to operate.

Perfect location & very comfortable

Amazing hotel. Very clean & comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Location is excellent. Only negative I have is that my girlfriend messaged hotel to ask if pool was open and she was told It was. It wasn’t, so we were very disappointed as this was a major factor of choosing this hotel.
