Newly renovated, Ideal location for a multi-family reunion. Beautiful secluded location. House is on Crystal Lake which is a no wake lake the house has a canoe, kayak, paddle boat, two stand up boards as well as a sand box for the kids. Fully stocked home with W/D. Has large parking area for numerous cars. Relax at the lake and enjoy the peace and quiet. It has 4 queen beds, 1 full, 8 single beds, and one crib. Enjoy the fire pit, propane gas grill or charcoal grill.
Amish country is nearby and don't forget to stop at the Berry patch for picking blueberries. Lawn is treated for Mosquitoes from May to September. PS 3 and several games are available. Newly added DirectTV. A/C units in all upstairs bedrooms. Central A/C on main level.

This home was situated in a lovely neighborhood with beautiful well kept flowers lawn, dock, and wildlife. The home itself is perfect for large gatherings. Many beds, lots of space for youngsters to sleep play and romp outside. The kitchen had all the things for feeding large crowds. Appliances were new and niceThe beds themselves could probably do with an upgrade. While I appreciate the thought behind covered mattresses they were rather crinkly and kept the fitted sheets from staying put. Extra Linens were rather scarce but we had just enough but not extra. The thing that made the stay was a family history book left on the mantle. Somehow that story just seemed to draw us into their memories and unique history.

This home was perfect for our family trip. Had plenty of space for what we needed. The weather played to our favor and we were able to enjoy time out on the dock and a even a fire in the pit or last night. The peace at night was a welcome respite from the noise of our cities, and the bird chorus in the AM was a wonderful sound to wake to.We should have another graduation in a few years, and we hope to stay here again!

New set of cooking pans was awesome. Having a dining table we could seat 11 people around was great. The fire pit with the swings around it was great for evening camp fire and s’mores. It was a nice day and the kids enjoyed time boating. It was nice to have the boats right there and life jackets. The kitchen was nice to work in. We weren’t sure the dishwasher was getting things clean. After scraping them and washing a load there appeared to be food left on glasses. We just washed them by hand after that. Maybe a couple more dish towels would be nice. The only other things that may need to be addressed would be the living room and porch furniture is showing its age and you sink down into it. It’s hard to get out of. It may be time to think about replacing or updating it. Also several of the mattresses are at a point that they need to be replaced. The foam ones especially are showing age breaking up and flaking. It was a great setting for an awesome weekend! Several different areas we could gather in and spend time together. Would consider reserving it again next year. Thanks for sharing your space and making our yearly family weekend retreat a great place to be together. Awesome time!

FYI. There were quite a few stink bugs upstairs. A blind fell off a window upstairs. It was clearly broken already. We did not have enough towels in the house. Overall we were all in town for a wedding so it was good for what we needed. But please update those mattresses. Seem very old. And some sheets just did not fit. Thank you!

I am giving this house a 2 star rating due to their being an infestation of cockroaches. We found several cockroaches in the oven, crawling around in the kitchen drawers and some in the bathrooms. The floors were very dirty. Our socks were black after walking throughout the house. I did notify the owner and he said he would get it sprayed.

Crystal Lake House

We love the privacy of this property. The lakefront is great for kids. OK lake for small bass with numerous bluegills. Our idyllic tranquility was interrupted for two days by the sound of chainsaws and beeping equipment as tree removers worked all around the house.

The lake house was beautiful and perfect for our family to stay together while we were all traveling in from different cities to attend a wedding. While we didn't have a chance to enjoy many of the amenities (lake activities) it was a great place to stay!

Great family place

There were 11 of us that stayed. The house accommodated everyone’s needs. The huge dining room table made for great game nights. Everyone had a place to sit. The property was perfect. There was basketball, volleyball, hammock, firepit, paddle board, kayak, canoe,pedal boat. I brought extra items for the kitchen and didn’t even need them. Our young and adult kids had such a great time.

We rented this beautiful, spacious home for the weekend to celebrate my sister’s birthday. There were twelve adults and we had plenty of room. We were pleasantly surprised to see that everything was supplied including paper towels, dish washing detergent, and showers essentials.

A lovely lakehouse

Very spacious, clean, well stocked home on a quiet, peaceful lake. 3 generations stayed quite comfortably for a week, enjoying fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and boating, the sandy beach, movies & video games, the campfire, etc. Very responsive, helpful caretakers. Nothing to complain about.

Huge Relaxing Property

Firstly, Ray is a gem. He and his wife help run the property. Only got to meet him and he is the nicest guy and wants to make sure you are taken care of. If we had an issue he was right on it and was fast to respond. The property is HUGE & due to the layout of the neighborhood, you are pretty secluded from other properties and can relax and not worry about bothering others. We enjoyed fishing, swimming, the docks and lake deck, paddleboards and other small paddle boats. There is a huge screened in porch which we spent a lot of time. If you like birds, there are a ton to watch and listen to. Beautiful in the morning. We were there on the hottest week of the year so far and the AC kept up. There are 6 bedrooms and the upstairs ones have window ACs. There are ceiling fans and a few portable fans. You won't ever get hot. We're people who love it cold. They have EVERY kitchen item you need. There is even a keurig, hot water pot and a traditional coffee pot. The oven is fancy and we had to Google how to use it lol. Washer and dryer are the best I've ever seen and easy to use. There are 3.5 baths. We had 12 of us & we never had an issue, we also staggered our shower time to make sure we all had hot water. The only issues were, don't count on the 2nd fridge in the garage. It's on it's last leg and doesn't really get cold. We used it for some drinks. We brought coolers with ice. Also, house needs a good mopping. I reccomend an iRobot mopper for the main floor, make it easy ;)

Great gathering!

This was an ideal rental for a mix of generations and interests. We enjoyed the beauty of the lake setting and made the most of the water craft. Having so much space allowed our large group to spread out and relax. We all agreed it was perfect.

Yearly football trip

We really enjoyed this property. The fire pit was wonderful and the lake is beautiful. The house was easy to find and it wasn’t to far from Notre Dame stadium. Thanks bunches for the wonderful memories we made this weekend.

Wonderful lake house!

Multi-generational family vacation, perfectly suited all our needs. Enough bedrooms, things to do, beautiful sunsets. Caretakers are very helpful and responsive if a need arises. Second time staying here and we’re booked again for next summer.

Lakehouse

This place is fabulous! 6 bedrooms, most with at least 2 beds! 4 bathrooms!! It was great for our group of 12! The outside deck and yard were perfect! Also the private pier and beach were nice ! We also had full access to paddle boards, 2 paddle boats, kayak and a canoe! We would re-book this place for sure!!

Great place for a large group.

We all were very impressed with the managers of the property who went above and beyond to welcome us and respond to our requests. We loved the property with the private beach, lake, large backyard with all the amenities: 2 fire pits, the amazing porch swings, hammock, picnic tables, umbrellas and all the water sport items. We had all we needed to cook meals and store our food in 2 refrigerator/freezers. Having a lock code was very convenient for a large group. We had 11 people stay at the rental ans hosted a few meals with up to 20 people with plenty of sitting. Everyone enjoyed their stay. Again a big thank you to the managers, Ray and Nancy for their hospitality!!
