Quick overnight stay

The Hotel is very nice, front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The only minor problem was the shower water was barely warm and with the chillier weather it was uncomfortable. The water was hot in the sink and in the kitchen sink, just not the shower. Overall it was a nice stay and I would recommend this place to anyone.

This is an excellent place to stay!! Overlooking the water and surrounded by terrific restaurants. Traveling between NE an FL and came this way to sneak around Baltimore ad DC metro and what a bonus this was. Second time here and will be back during my travels. Need to add some time here to enjoy it more.

Needs soundproofing and IT tech.

When told that the TV was not working properly, the front desk clerk went to the room but had no skills to fix the problem. No offer was made to resolve the problem until I asked about changing rooms. Located very close to I-95, the roar of traffic continued through the night with inadequate soundproofing and room darkening curtains. A small, but significant, point, please use a designated pot for water for tea - using a coffee pot for that purpose ruins the tea.

Traveling down interstate 95 and pulled over in Walterboro. The hotel was nice except pricey for the area and what you got. I would have probably preferred to travel a little further to have more reasonable options to stay.

A Completely Refreshed Hampton Inn

We've stayed at many Hampton Inns so we generally know what to expect when we check in. However, we were blown away by the new design of this Hampton, which is undergoing a major interior remodeling, and is nearing completion from what we could tell. Our room felt very spacious and was of a design unlike any others we've used. Our kudos to the designers of this 'new' Hampton Inn. Staff was also very accommodating when we had problems with the electronic door lock.

Our door lock did not work properly so the front desk person came up immediately and replaced the battery pack. Problem solved quickly and professionally.
