This modern 4 bedroom holiday home offers both families and couples a great getaway experience. The house is a leasurely 3 minute walk to the beach. Featuring a large balcony that overlooks the Harriet river, open plan kitchen, dining/lounge, reverse cycle air conditioning and ceiling fans. Other features include 2 Smart TV`s; and free wifi. We offer free on-site use of two Kayaks with adult and children size lifejackets for you to explore the calm and picturesque waterways of the Harriet River.
Sit back and enjoy the privacy and serenity with a complimentary bottle of “Fleurieu Vines” Cabernet Sauvignon and watch the sunset. Take a short walk to the spectacular award winning Vivonne Bay Beach. The largest and most accessible bay and beach on the south coast and the best beach for swimming and surfing. The Vivonne Bay Store is open 7 days a week and sells fuel, alcohol, supplies and a variety of food and drinks. Make sure to indulge in one of their famous whiting burgers. Vivonne Bay is one of the most popular places on Kangaroo Island - it’s rugged, beautiful, and home to some of the island’s favourite attractions. Seal Bay Conservation Park, Little Sahara, Raptor Domain, Kangaroo Island Outdoor Action, Bush Getaway Adventures, Sandboarding and Paintball. Vivonne Bay is also conveniently located for day trips to Kelly Hill Caves, Flinders Chase National Park and Visitor Information Centre which is the gateway to Admirals Arch, Remarkable Rocks and Cape du Couedic.
Access is available to the entire house apart from a locked walk in robe in the main bedroom.

The neighbourhood is very quiet with a scattering of houses in amongst the scrub. There is a small boutique store that offer refreshments, fuel and takeaway food as well as a liquor outlet.
You will require a motor vehicle as there is no public transport available. Parking is available at the house.
Please be aware that there is a surcharge of $150 for 2 night minimum stays.

The following terms and conditions apply to bookings and stays at Vivonne Bay Island Getaway:
•Vivonne Bay Island Getaway’s amenities are strictly for the exclusive use of paying guests
•Should guests wish to bring visitors to the property they are asked to seek the owner’s permission prior to doing so
Tariff
•Applies to 2 people per night. Additional tariff will apply for extra guests
•Includes free Wi Fi Internet access which is provided on a ‘fair usage’ basis. Excessive usage will incur a fee. Guests are asked NOT to use Wi Fi to download large files such as movies, music, games, magazines etc
•Includes free parking (not undercover) strictly available for paying guests only

Arrival / departure times
•Check in is any time from 2.00pm.
•Check out is by 10am
Non-Smoking Policy
•Smoking is strictly NOT permitted indoors
•Where this policy is breached, a fee for cleaning, repairing and deodorizing will be charged
Children
•Parents/guardians are fully responsible for ensuring their children are supervised at all times,
whether indoors, out in the grounds or any other activity
Pets
•Pets are not permitted
Bed linen/towels
•Bed linen and towels are provided
Lights, heaters and appliances
•Guests are asked to turn off all lights, airconditioner and other appliances prior to leaving the premises and when not in use
•The house is completely rain water only so please conserve water as much as possible.
HOUSE RULES
Guests are asked to:
•Keep volumes of TV, radio, music and other activities at a reasonable level at all times
•Wash up after using tea/coffee and cooking utensils, dining ware etc and return to appropriate
location after use
•Use the rubbish bin located under the sink
•Return all items including dining-ware, glassware, cutlery, torches, books, games, DVDs to their appropriate location after use
•Bikes, scooters, skateboards, surfboards and boogie boards are not to be kept inside the but can be stored adjacent to the premises
•Do not dispose of any items other than toilet paper in toilets
•There is a telephone for incoming calls only but mobile phone reception and internet access is reliable through Telstra and Optus.
BBQ
•A guest BBQ is provided. Guests are asked to clean BBQ and utensils thoroughly after each use.
Fire safety and first aid
•Fire extinguisher is located out by the BBQ and there is a fire blanket in the kitchen. A first aid kit is available in the kitche.
Breakages, damage and soiling
Guests are responsible for any of damage to the property fittings, furnishings and other items provided by the owner including breakages and excessive soiling caused by them and must pay the full cost incurred by the owner to replace, repair or clean damaged items at the owner’s discretion.
Guests must compensate the owner for any lost accommodation bookings should the property need to be closed in order to carry out repairs.
Guests must also pay a reasonable fee if the owner needs to undertake extensive cleaning, dry-cleaning or deodorising owing to soiling or where a room is left in abnormally poor condition.
Loss of personal items and equipment such as DVDs, books, towels, linen etc will be charged to the guests.
Note: The Owners reserve the right to reject booking requests and may alter these terms and conditions for specific bookings.
