RENTAL RULES

1. Smoking is NOT allowed. Fines beginning at $500 may be applied for smoking of any kind in or near the property.

2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit agreed to.

3. Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors; Code-enforced neighborhood quiet hours are from 10:00p.m. – 8:00a.m.

4. All houses are privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

5. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Guests agree to take responsibility for the home, report damages and cover expenses via personal payment or pre-purchased travel insurance.

6. Only use appliances for their intended uses.

7. PETS are NOT permitted at this property.

8. Parking: Off-street parking is provided for 3 vehicles in the driveway. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

9. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate.

10. Garbage: Any garbage must be stowed in the proper garbage or recycling receptacle, Located beside the house. Curbside trash pickup day is Tuesday morning. Please put trash can on curb on Monday evening for Tuesday morning pick-up and return trash can from the street after pickup.

11. Plumbing: DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to $500.

Refunds: Your 50% booking fee is nonrefundable (unless you purchase optional travel insurance and your cancellation is approved). Credit card processing fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from any guest refund in the event of cancellation.

House was nice, clean, and well kept. Very convenient to beach, boardwalk, and other places around the area. Great for walking exercise! The only issue we had was someone prior to our arrival did not clean up after their pet in the backyard. We went ahead and took care of it, as well as cleaning up after ours.

We had a wonderful stay over Labor Day Weekend! The house was very spacious and comfortably fit 8 adults, with plenty of room downstairs for everyone to hang out together. The only thing to note is that the kitchen supplies are a bit limited, so if you’re planning to cook often, it’s worth keeping that in mind. Additionally, you will need to make sure to bring your own shampoo & conditioner. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

We bless the Lord in finding such a beautiful rental house within 2 blocks of shopping centers, the oceanfront, and in another direction a couple of blocks from Harris Teeter supermarket. The front porch and the grill and table set up outback was a plus. Three couples stayed on the second floor. It was so spacious that we did not get in each other‘s way. The owners always got back in touch within minutes or within a day, that was great. Very nice neighborhood. We had a blast. We celebrated a birthday and we celebrated an anniversary. The house was absolutely beautiful. Everything was clean and very welcoming. We were able to walk to the beach and several breakfast and dinner options were close. There was plenty of space for our family of 5 to spread out. It was nice that the beds in the room were full beds vs twin beds for our teens. Very happy with our stay!

House was perfect for our stay! Minutes from the beach, clean, kitchen well supplied, outdoor grill (tank was empty, grateful for spare); quiet neighborhood; walking distance to restaurants, stores, bike rentals, etc.Note: make sure you bring your own toiletries and games.

A two block away from the beach was a plus. A two block away from Harris Teeter was a bigger plus. The cable TV choices were limited, bearable for a 3 day stay but would be problematic for a longer visit. Washing towels every day wasn’t enough we had to buy extra towels and washcloths. NOTE it’s a 2.5 bath and not 3 bath Property. The beach towels were hidden in the laundry room.Communication with the property manager was limited. Being a first time VRBO customer I was a little nervous when my questions were not answered promptly.Bathrooms and bedrooms immaculate; kitchen appliances are suffering some wear and tear.I would stay there again.

Spacious and bright home just steps from everything

We stayed here with our young kids and there was plenty of space for everyone. The home is nicely decorated and clean. We loved that we could just park and walk to everything from the grocery store, to the beach, to mini golf, restaurants and more!

Wonderful Location!

We loved our stay at Flip Flops. The rental was clean and very comfortable. Short walk to the beach. Note the address is 26 1/2 Street. We were sent to 26th Street and was about to walk into a stranger’s home!

This is a beautiful property. Everything you need for a great vacation. The location is superb, close enough to the beach yet far enough to escape the noise. The house is new and beautifully decorated and the host is very kind and very attentive. I highly recommend this lovely home.

Location great, house definitely lacking

This house is only a 5 minute easy walk to the beach, definitely child friendly as far as location. But you should know you are only getting the bare bones of a house to rent. You need to bring everything with you: shampoo, soap, etc and then if you plan on cooking assume you are using an empty kitchen so you need spices, foil, etc. the cabinets everywhere are bare. There are only the simplest of necessities for pots and pans. We had to go to the neighbor for a wine opener. If you’re heading to the beach, there are some chairs in the garage and 2 small mats but no umbrellas. Check in was delayed when we got there because the code we were given was not right. It took some time to hear from the manager but after that no problem getting in. The renters across the street told us they had trouble getting in too. All in all the location is fine, but for the $ spent it wouldn’t hurt the owner to throw in a few basic necessities that would be helpful when only traveling for a few days. Especially with regards to cooking, cleaning or basic necessities, things that you really don’t want to have to buy if only staying somewhere for a short stay which is what we usually do in VRBO’s. Definitely over priced compared to what we had on the rest of our trip.

Great House

We stayed during the week and this house could not have been better for our family. It is a newer home. The house was very clean. Location is excellent - literally about a two block walk to the beach. We found out that the beach rents chairs and umbrellas so no need to lug stuff there. This area of Virginia Beach is the nicest stretch in my opinion and the house lived up to the listing. Thanks Frank for a wonderful stay.

Just beautiful

This property is just beautiful! It looks exactly like the pictures. Not only that but it’s very close to the beach, stores, attractions and nice restaurants. We walked to George’s Buffet and also to many souvenir shops. The owner was very gracious and even stopped by the property to chat. There are plenty of kitchen supplies and there was even a boogie board for my 14 year old grandsons to enjoy on the beach. We left a small beach chair there to add to the chairs already provided. It was a precious memory of our grandkids when they were toddlers. We really enjoyed our stay. Just delightful. We will definitely return. 🙂 It was our 50th Wedding Anniversary.

great location!

Had a wonderful experience staying in this home as did my friends. Close to everything. Short walk to the beach. I would definitely stay here again. There were a few minor issues like the dryer would not dry and we did let our Host know about the minor issues. Nothing that would keep us from staying in this beautiful home.

Great property and convenient location

We were a party of 6 with 4 kids ranging from 8-15. We had a great time. The property is gorgeous and comfortable with enough space. My only negative would be that it would have been nice to have Netflix or streaming capability on the TV in the living room. The beach and board walk are just a few minutes walk. The Harris Teeter is a just a block away and was super convenient. I would stay there again.

Close to Naval Station Norfolk

This was the perfect location for a visit to our see our son who is stationed at Naval Station Norfolk. We felt right at home in this clean and well furnished home. I can’t wait to come back!

I celebrate led my 32nd birthday with friend and family and it was wonderful! Frank was super responsive and the house was perfect! The walk to the beach is easy and the house is also super close to Ben and Jerry’s — what a lovely treat! We’d surely book this property again! Thank Frank and VRBO!
