A great place to stay

Lovely apartment, clean and with everythibg needed. Carlos and his wife were great hosts and very quick to respond. Vila do Conde is a good place to stay, beautiful beaches, all shops etc and easy to get to from airport and for day trips into Porto. I would really recommend this as a place to stay and enjoy Portugal.

Loved the location! Although about 30-45 min outside of Porto. 1 hour by train.

Owner is friendly and responded quickly. The apartment is located in Vila de Conde, walking distance to the waterfront and lovely town. We parked the car on the street as the garage has a high cement lip on one end and it was an impossible angle to park it. Just about ruined the underside of our rental. We kept windows open to allow a breeze to flow through as the unit smelled damp. There was also a problem with ants. Kitchen counters and doors felt greasy. Owner did mention he was having difficulty finding decent cleaners. Beds were clean and comfortable. Loved the back patio area, perfect for late night conversations of our adventures during the day. Our overall stay was good.
