This was a cute little property right by the Opera. It is somewhat of an odd setup and a little outdated, but it was cozy and served all of our needs. It was a great location. Would stay here again.

Comfortable and convenient

Comfortable hotel near square of shops and restaurants. The manager is very nice. Umbrellas available to loan for rainy days. Few steps away from a delicious cafe. Walking distance to a lot of sites.

Quiet traditional and cosy pension, fabulously placed 2 minutes from the opera house. Helpful staff. Room very comfortable, clean and warm. Good shower/wifi and there’s a lift for upper floors. Its not a modern hotel with loads of extra facilities but I don’t want /need that. They look after cases after check out and provide tea/coffee in the room.

Great location Friendly staff.

At first, I thought the hotel was a little sketchy. It has a very small elevator, which you have to take up one floor to reach the reception desk. The "Reception" is just a small office that seems pretty outdated. But the place really grew on me after a couple days. The room was very nice, the beds very comfortable, and it was very quiet despite being in a busy part of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Best of all, the location is outstanding, a block from a tram and subway stop and easy walking distance to the museums, St. Stephens Cathedral, and other sights in the old town.

I had a double room with kitchenette and balcony. It was spacious, quiet, clean and right by the opera house. I was visiting for music so perfectly placed in the centre of town. It’s an old fashioned pension which I love - not for those who want a modern hotel room which could be anywhere. There was maid service daily - the staff were charming, coffee and tea stocked up daily and the small kitchen was well equipped. Shower was hot and worked well. Central heating was toasty (I was visiting in winter). A small lift also so no need to haul luggage up stairs. This is not a hotel with lots of facilities but I didn’t need that type of accommodation.

The bathrooms have high-walled tubs, not showers. It was treacherous getting in and out as they did not provide bath mats. There was also a small ledge from the doorway area to the sink that was unmarked and difficult to see which tripped me up a couple of times. The radiator could not be adjusted and was way too hot, leaving me to open a window in December. The mattress was as hard as a futon and the pillow was flat. The staff were friendly, the place was clean, and the location central.

This is an older hotel and building, and the entryway and corridors to the rooms have a municipal feel to them (until you walk through the interior doors to the small hallways leading to the actual rooms). However, the room was large and clean, well-furnished, and the beds very comfortable. The staff could not have been more friendly. The location simply cannot be beaten. Directly within Vienna's Old City, exactly where tourists like we were would want to be. Nice, locking room for luggage storage if needed also. I would absolutely stay at Pension Suzanne again (and hope to: loved Vienna).

The location of the hotel is perfect if you are looking for quick and easy access to all the sights in the historic part of city. The room was spacious and had a separate kitchen which was helpful. Overall the hotel was very nice and comfortable. I would recommend it and would stay there again should I come back.

This is a small, residential-feeling place in the absolute heart of historic Vienna. Service with a smile and working AC! The building is "historic" so outlets are limited, and the rooms are NOT large, but the place is elevated by small thoughtful touches and a very helpful front desk that made it feel almost like a homestay. Great value overall!
