Even for a motel 6 I expected more... maybe I was wrong. Uncomfortable, took forever to check-in. Terrible location far from Victoria. I won't be staying here again.

I made two separate reservations for this motel requesting a ground floor room due to mobility issues and being a senior. When I arrived, I was booked into a second floor room and the motel does not have an elevator. The desk clerk said I should “look at another property”. The manager quickly came to the front and found me a ground floor room. I stayed two nights and checked out for one night to attend a funeral in another city but before I left, I told the front desk clerk that I would return the next day. He said I was booked into the same room, no problem! When I returned, the clerk said I could stay in the room one night only and would have to move to another room for the second night which was more expensive. Because I booked through Expedia, I was not eligible to receive the Seniors Discount.

Although it was an old building, the manger was really kind to switch the room with a tub for us. Enjoyed the beach nearby.

Typical motel where you park in front of your door. The king bed was comfortable and the fridge was a great addition to the room. This shares property with a White Spot restaurant where guests get a discount. It's not far from other restaurants and coffee shops as well. Check in staff was great. Rooms were clean exceptousekeeping missed our room the 2nd day which meant we came back to wet towels still piled in the washroom at the end of the day. Air conditioner is effective but quite loud, as is the bathroom fan, which is on whenever the bathroom light is on.

Pay a ton, get a bit

The price was not equal to the quality. Paid close to $250/ night. The room smelled like a smoker had been there and then tried to cover the smell.1 queen bed (pretty comfy). Shower door leaked all over the floor, water pressure was bad. Hotel room floor was so dirty, my feet got dirty after getting out of the shower. The coffee supply was not enough for 2 people/ 2 days, and the hotel room door could not be managed with 1 hand because the lock scanner worked intermittently. The smoke alarm chirped every time the bathroom door was left open after a shower. For a room that small, it was incredibly expensive. We will not stay there again.

This property is very close to BC ferries terminal and the airport. Parking a commerical vehicle is very good and also very safe. The rooms are nice and clean with very friendly staff. Transit to the city is very close and resturants and fast food chains are walking distance.

The room was very musty, no screens on the windows, one of 2 windows would open 2”, the other was “fixed” to not open at all. Toilet was dirty on arrival. Kept fan on in bathroom at all times. Considering the cost, we were very disappointed and will not stay here again.
