Loved the USD themed decor. Needed a light bulb replaced & it was replaced that day. Rooms may need more lighting options as they are dark with 1 lamp for the bed and 1 lamp for the entry area.

There was a maggot like worm found on the underside of the pillow in one of the beds. We told the staff immediately and asked for a refund which they refused as they had another room available. Did not want to stay after finding that.

Typical inexpensive room for a one night stay. Not a resort, butIt was clean, staff was nice. The AC unit was noisy, the sink faucet was loose and wobbled around. Included breakfast options were fair. Wound up with just coffee and yogurt. Not a stand out but not terrible. Staff was helpful.
I was not impressed at all. I didn't have high expectations because of it being a low starred hotel but it actually disappointed me. I stayed in room #260 and it had an **awful** smell in the room. I couldn't tell what it was. It seemed like the smell was coming from the air conditioner, which when I looked inside of it there were clumps of dirt inside where the air was blowing through. I don't know if that was the cause of the odor in the room or not. The sheets and towels appeared clean, and the floors swept. I appreciated not having gross carpet, but under the bed was dusty and the box spring lining was ripped and hanging on the ground. The toilet continuously ran. Later in the evening the whole hotel had a fishy, shrimp smell to it. I'm not sure if someone had cooked seafood or if the odor was coming from something in the motel but it was disgusting. The vending machines were out of order. When I checked out someone had left their 1/2 drank ice coffee sitting on the ice machine where the ice comes out. Both when I checked in the hotel and out there was nobody at the front desk and I had to use the phone on the desk to call. When I did talk to the staff on the phone they were nice enough but I thought it was odd nobody was ever at the front desk. I think for the quality of the hotel it is **way** overpriced for what it is.
I only stayed one night so I'm not sure about longer visits, but my room was very clean and seemed updated. The front desk person who checked in was very nice and informative. I would stay here again if passing through the area and needing a place to stay.
Great place for the cost. Repeat customers. Son goes to USD so we stay regularly and has always been good to us.

The check in was smooth and flawless. The girl who checked is in was cheerful and uplifting. She was very helpful and was happy to answer questions. Give that girl a raise. She is the face of the company and the company is truly held up by employees like her.
